I think Ashley needs to let her hair down more often (figuratively and literally).

I like her well enough, and if Tali wasn't so adorable I'd stick with her.

Then again, her default armor is also pink. Pink. Seriously. No way is she wearing that by choice.

Great. Now I'm getting a Red vs. Blue flashback.

"It's not pink! It's lightish red!"

hopefully Ash is recruitable, because then I could see a scenario where maybe their homeworld gets attacked or something by the reapers, and you go on a mission to rescue them.

that would be epic.

Writers "dropped a bridge on her" in ME 2, just to get her out of the way.

If they are doing loyalty missions/companion side quests in mass effect 3 (they better be) then that would make an awesome sidequest

One of my favorite Ash quotes:

Shepard: I'm not looking to be a toy, Ash.

Ash: I don't think of you as one.

I got a little annoyed during my Paragon ManShep playthrough where I was staying loyal to Ash, and kept having to turn down ME2's female LIs. Not because I had to turn them down, but the manner in which Shepard did so. Never once was there an option that was like, "I'm flattered, but I'm still in love with Ashley," or something along those lines. Especially with Tali, who would have completely understood a response like that.

Same, I wanted to talk to the other LIs and still be nice, but after turning away Tali in a mean manner (best choice on saying no Image IPB) I kinda just ignored the LIs and stopped talking to them just so I wouldn't mess up ME3. Was worth it in my eyes though, but still could have been better

i personally hate Ashley and made sure she died on Virmire. However, considering it isn't an issue for me I fully support those who like her. go for it! i don't see why Bioware would screw you on that one. don't worry.

I know.  I was hoping that at least for Tali I could have softened the blow a little by explaining that it wasn't her, it was me and my feelings for Ash, that sort of thing.  But Shepard was just like "You're sweet.  No."

I didn't care about telling anyone else that there was someone else.  All they needed to know was I wasn't interested, not why.

See?  And you're the kind of reasonable person that is so rare around here.  So many people think if they don't like someone no one else should either.  Your honestly is refreshing.

This would be cool.  If she is a squadmate I hope we get some sort of personalized mission interaction with her.  If not involving her family then at least involving the Alliance or something.

I would love to see a return of Ashley as a major role in ME3.

She was my second favorite squadmate in ME1. She's got such an energetic enthusiasm about life. Her closeness to her family was great to see. I felt like she was someone that I would have liked to meet in real life.

I agreed with her viewpoints about the Council; their lack of support for Shepard and the mission was sickening. It honestly took quite a bit of will on my part to save the Council in the end.

One thing I would really like to see in ME3 is a complete differentiation between Ashley and Kaidan's lines. This wasn't seen in ME2 and I feel like it was a disservice to the characters. Ashley and Kaidan are foils of each other; she is the most renegade character and he is the most paragon. When romanced, they can reverse roles. Though I believe they would have undoubtedly had the same opinion about Shepard working with Cerberus, they ought to have said it differently.

Anyway, that's my two cents on Ash :)

yeah. the fact that Ash and Kaidan are completely interchangeable in ME2 was predictable and expected, at least for me, but no less disheartening. I really, really want that Virmire decision to actually MEAN something. as in, something fairly substantial occurs based off of that choice.

it probably will simply come down to affecting which one you get in you squad in ME3 (I hope), but even so that was by far my favorite decision in the entire series so far and I really want it to mean something come ME3, cause it flat out didnt in ME2.
