Big thread.

I liked Ash alot.  In my first play through ME2 my Shepard did not go after any romancess. 

Ok Kelly doent count because that was wierd and creepy.  I didnt even try to romance her.  My John Shepard was trying to be a protective big brother type.  The same way I see that Shepard feels towards Tali.

Back to Ash.

She is a strong dedicated woman.  She is also educated.  In my play through I conviced her to see aliens as equals by talking about her faith.  The way I see it all that Shepard could thing about when he was dieing of decompresion was 'please let Ash be safe".   When he finaly woke up in the lab it would have been ware am I, ware is my crew, whare is Ash.

Bioware ruined that story ark because they just come out and say you cant have your old friends.  Especialy the love interest from the last game.  Both TIM and Anderson come out and say this.  Ash's reaction on Haven was even worse.  She knows Shepard she would have heard him out.  Then joined the crew.  Because the reapers are still out there and she knows that is whats important.  She also would have wanted to protect Shepard from Cerabus.

To top the whole scewd up head up butt writing you cant even explane yourself in a non-douchebag manner.

Paragon:  Hay lets get the band back together man! just like old times!
It should have been; Ash I need you I love you I dont think we can succed with out you.  fallowed by Cerberus is all I have because the councel, even Anderson, left me out to dry.  Oh and yes I was dead.  Im kinda freaked out about that.

Renegade: Oh yeah well Cerberus brought me back so I'm with them.
It should have been; The reapers are a real threat, but I guess you dont care any more.  Human colonies are being wiped out they are behind it.  You can help me or go back with your head in the sand.  fallowed by, yes I was dead and all I could think about was my crew.

Wow big rant.  Yeah that story arc pissed me off a little.  It's also 430 AM.  I need sleep.

I support Ash coming back for ME3.  Damn well better get her back.

Well, that story over on AFF certainally felt even more real than the one over on FanFiction, more in depth and true. Well done Badpie!



On a different note, I wish I had the time now to be able to play through ME1 again, give it more attention and build things up with Ash again. Ah well, hopefully soon.
