Hey people, I also posted this in the ME1 forum but since that forum is kinda close to death I'll ask it here too, in the middle of all the Ashley fans! :D





About romancing Ashley in ME1:



Okay, this is pretty awkward and the first time this happened to me.



I'm currently romancing Ashley, so obviously I've been talking to her after every major mission, and I'm always nice to her.

So far, after becomming a spectre, I've only done the Liara recruitment mission and a ****load of side-missions, which are not related to the main story.



Now I just finished the Bring Down The Sky mission and I talked to Ashley again. This is usually the moment you'll hear her sister through the speaker, saying that Shepard is cute.

However, this time, her sister said that Kaiden is cute! What the...?

Lucky though, when I asked Ash about her and Kaiden she said she didn't have any interrest in him.



So I was wondering. Did I somehow magically kill my romance with Ash? Or can I still romance her? And why did her sister mention Kaiden instead of Shepard, while I've always been nice to her?

I've only seen that playing a femshep. From what i remember it's pretty hard to kill the romance as long as you show interest.

Huh, that's really interesting. I can confirm, like jason9880 did, that that is a femshep variant.

ETA: Trust me, if the KAST hasn't gotten into trouble for naughtiness yet, you guys are definitely in the clear.

So, on the Kaidan thread we were trying to figure out earlier what exactly Alenko does on the Normandy beside try to fix that screen. The same sort of goes for Ash - what are her job duties, besides cleaning guns and kicking ass on missions? It would be kind of nice to get a little more info on what the hell everyone does when they're not standing around the ship waiting for Shep to come up and talk to them.

Ash's main duties are probably just weapon maintenance.  No idea on Kaidan... but I think they probably work less hours than normal when travelling. 

One wish I had for both games was to see some movement with the characters.  Have them eat a meal from time to time at least!

Well you know that comment he makes on Noveria? I think it's the conversation with Lorik Quin(sp?). Kaidan says something about extranet porn and asari... I always figured that was what he was doing over there all sweaty like. Seriously though, I think he kind of oversees the crew and such.

Ashley, I have no idea about. Maybe updating her Twitter account.

My brother was a marine and he would spend months on ship. From what i remember him telling me he did a lot of exercise, watching movies, xbox, and myspace(yes this was a while ago).  In one of the care packages i sent kotor, he said he and his buddies spent most of their time on ship playing that game. So i imagine that's what Ash and Kaidan are doing.

Hmmm that makes me wonder if I'm the only Canadian who actually appreciates Ash.
I haven't see any others that I know of...Image IPB The only Canadians I've seen are Liara/Tali supporters.
