Well
deserved three month long vacation with Ash, then back at it as a
freelance protector of the galaxy (screw the Alliance and Council),
loyal crew in tow on the SR2, which has had those damned Cerberus
symbols painted over on it.  Much fun will be had regarding the
skylight over Shepard's bed.  Flying around, righting wrongs, docking
at cool places for weeks at a time, kicking ass and hanging with crew. 
This will happen for as long as possible.  Years even.  Then accidently
and surprisingly Ash tells Shepard she's pregant and they're really
happy even though it means Ash now has to go live with her mother and
sisters for awhile.  Perhaps after baby time, Shepard semi-retires and
has a home base (a real home) that he and Ash only leave for really
important jobs (they can afford a babysitter).

Yeah I don't see either of them fully retiring.  Flying around on starships, blowing **** up and generally kicking ass is in the DNA of both Shepard and Ash.  I don't think either of them think about kids really so I don't think one would be planned.  But it would be a pleasant surprise later on in their relationship I think.  I don't know if I see them tying the knot though.  And I think they would need a babysitter/nanny a LOT.  Neither one of them is the stay at home kind.  

Whatever happens I just want the option for a happy ending so I can write **** like this later.

Trust me, the Kaidanites are united with you guys on this one.  (Since ya know, they've essentially become the same characters with the same lines. Ugh...so mad when Kaidan was using Ash's assualt rifle on Horizon.  Even madder when he didn't throw a barrier and scream, "Sting me know, biotch!")

Well, Liara and Ash unfortunately share an ass (that sounded weird).  But it depends on what you like.  If you like, big, round and curvy, go with Miranda.  If you like tight, antigravity and curvy go for Ash/Liara.

As much as I love Ashley.....Miranda has "dat ass" category won easily

Have to agree. On a pure ass level, Miranda wins - still prefer Ashley though.

*Shepard team is stacked up at the entrance to a merc base, read to go.  The mood is tense, and the team is ready to break at anymoment.  Liara taps Ash on the shoulder*
Ash:  *irritated* What?
Liara:  I have to go.
Ash: What?  Now? Why didn't you go on the ship?
Liara: Wellllll...you were using you ass for recreational time with Shepard.
Ash: Oh...oh yeah...well..You're going to have to hold it.  We don't have time right now.
