Awesome. Any chance you could get the scene with Shepard looking at Ashley's pic in his cabin?

A support thread for Ash?! **Does happy dance**

Until now I thought everyone hated her... When I saw her get frozen by the swarm on Horizon I literally yelled "Noooooo! Run and shoot! Run and shoot!" and ran through the mission like a crazed fool... Then the whole "Reunion" scene was so sad I actually re-loaded and tried for happier outcome and failed :'(

And even though when ME 3 comes out I will have 2 Sheps, my fave and first is the one that wants Ash back.. (Beat me if you wish for having a Shep that did "cheat", but hey it's still a game)

*Edit: Idk how this site works yet so could someone tell me how to put the "Ashley Williams for ME 3" sig up? pretty plz :)

I'm assuming you mean that banner image like in my signature. If so, right-click on the image, and click on "Copy Image Location." Then go to Profile>Forum Settings. There will be a box there for your Signature. In that box, type [ img ] [ /img ] (without the spaces in the brackets), and then in-between, paste the image URL you copied earlier. Then just save your sig and enjoy. :wizard:

EDIT: Actually, just copy this: [ img ]http://social.bioware.com/uploads_user/3000/2446/16587.jpg[ /img ] and just remove the spaces within the brackets. Simpler that way.

Considering how good Ashley looks with the disadvantage of alliance protocol, not having her hair down.

She pwns Kelly/Miranda

The tali and miranda fans have theirs, well where is the thread to show our desire to see Ash return in ME3? Come on people

Edit:  Well since there isn't one yet I'm making this the 'official' Ashley Williams support thread, post here to show your love for Ash and join our group at http://social.bioware.com/group/1333/ to show bioware we want her back!

Thank You Sir I Tried to start a thread like this but it was really late at night and The Liara Fan Nutjobs bogged it down.
Ash to me is the Best LI in the Game then Tali and then Miranda.
I love her Character and her flaws....Her Character knows who she is and is the Only thing wrong with ME2 not enough ASH!!

I'd also like to see Ash let her hair down. Also in some civilian clothes. Maybe I could buy her dinner and she'd even put on a skirt! Still, she's most attractive when her femininity shows through her masculine badassness.

Yup.  Part of why I dig her is that here she is, in a standard boring military bun, no makeup, heavy armor and holding her own as an infantry grunt - and yet she still comes across as feminine and has beautiful features.

I dunno, I sorta felt like it would be appropriate if her hair was down in the 'love scene'. (But the fact Shepard's always fully dressed right after that kills the 'afterglow'...couldn't program a "hastily dressed" skin for Shepard?)

Well, maybe in ME3.

Oh I agree.  I would have preferred a "love tousled" look to her locks during that.  ;)

Now that I've finished ME2 and had more time to think about it, I've realised again just how special Ash is compared to the other romance characters in the game. Here are my reasons:

  • Miranda is pretty, but she is too shadowy, her past is really an unknown. Even after the loyalty mission, I didn't feel a real connection with her as a character. Somehow she just seems shallow, and the added effect that I didn't go through the first game with her, I went through that with Ash. However, if I was brand new to the ME universe, Miranda would probably be my choice, since I wouldn't have known Ash.
  • Jack is, to quote TV Tropes, "Ax Crazy". She is not very pretty, and while I like seeing her improve on her messed up past, I feel that it is still all too real for her. Her swearing also puts me off quite a bit. She makes a good squad mate and possibly friend, but for romance she too scarred.
  • Kelly Chambers is pretty, but kind of vacant headed in my view. Her loose intimacy values bother me, as she hasn't earned the right to share that personal connection with my Shep. Nice to talk to though.
  • Liara in ME1 seemed very child like to me, despite her age. I got the feeling that she just wasn't mature enough, but I liked her sweet nature.
  • Lastly, Tali. To me, Tali is a really good friend and squad mate. Tali is also young, so much so that I couldn't connect with her on a romance level. Forgetting all the physical stuff, and despite her recent maturity, she just didn't do it for me.

That is why I found Ash to be so compelling for me. Humans are like that, we can never quite explain why we love the way we do.

All in all, I am hoping that by being faithful, I am rewarded well in ME3. If not, oh well, at least I can be complacent in the idea that I didn't cheat.

I for, one, didn't like her for the appearance. What got me, that she has a fire in her. Passion, emotions, and she's not always like "oo shepard your are so awesome", which for I'm grateful.
