Ahhh someone that has not played the ASH LI...if he had he would know that Ash is not a Racist .....
If U are going to Comment on ASH LI at least play it....LOL
I did! In fact, I went for her right on my first playthrough. That is one of the reasons why I dislike her so very, very much. That and the whole racism thing. That's a minus too.

(Young kids who play this game most likely do not like Ash..To much work for them LOL)
P.S. - Also, saying that "people who do not share the same opinion as me are just little kids and/or stupid" is Twilight fandumb logic. Please avoid that.

anyone who didnt romance ashley at least once in ME seriously missed out. probably the deepest and most developed character in that game, in my opinion. perhaps even in the whole series thusfar.
Yeah man...I was shocked on how deep her Character was very thought out.
I played the LIara LI and was like OK girl i see that You like me calm down...we just met.
With Ash U get something very real.
I agree, Ashley seems to connect with Shepard much better than any other LI. Liara has crazy eyes and comes on way to strong it feels desperate. Miranda and Jack are ok but feel more like flings to me. Tali on the other hand, that one at least feels developed, I can understand that one. But Ashely just has it all, throughout ME1 Shep and her are finding things in common, he can even show her all aliens arn't bad.

Not liking a Character is fine but making Blind judgment is careless....
Kinda like Fox news saying there is a Fully nude sex scene in ME1 before really finding out the truth.
And Be happy with the Puppet Liara......she is no work and pretty much loves you after the first meeting.
In real life that would freak any guy out.....
I prefer my Games LI to be as real as possable and ASH is pretty much as close to a real relationship can get.
PS- this is a Support ASh thread you don't like her fine...but why post.

I tried to leave her on virmire for one of my playthroughs before ME2. I got to the point where she calls you on the intercom and couldn't do it. I have never really felt like a character had been developed this well in one game. Of course this is my opinion and i could be incredibly wrong.

You know what's ignorant and careless? Making baseless insults just because someone has a different opinion. Also, Random capital Letters do not a more Valid post make.

Wow, you just pulled that one out of your ass didn't you? Just pull the Fox News card and BAM, instant support.
What does having an opinon has to do with Fox News. Oh right, because you don't agree with it.

See what happens when you watch too much Fox News? You start to make baseless assumptions like that.
Who ever said I liked Liara? She was way too easy and uninteressting for my tastes and the only reason why I ever chose her as a LI was because I wanted to know how that choice would play out in ME2. Does that make Ashley any less of a prejudiced ****? No, it just means that you're pretty much out of options.

Because I'm entitled to posting my opinion? Dunno, maybe?
And I was expecting a backlash, but I thought that people would be civil enough to take it amicably.
Instead, I get insulted for it. Personally, I blame Fox News and their take on the ME1 sex scene.

Ashley is not for everyone, but if you've been in the military she is easy to understand from the start. She is a true example of a soldier who abides by her convictions without compromise. A women most worthy of my Shepard for certain. She will always be forever in my Shepard’s heart of hearts.
Bioware, for the love of god, give us back our Ashley pls.

I don't like it when people throw around the word racist...so yeah if you don't get that is your deal.
And I don't like it when people throw around words like "idiot", "kid" and "ignorant", especially when subjective opinions are being discussed. So we're even.

Sorry, I've only played the first game about 8 times, I really didn't get all that time to get to know the character almost by heart. Along with her whole goddamend life story and family tree.

Sure, go right ahead, you're entitled to that as is any other member of this forum. Glad you finally learned that
But, FYI, "know" and "now" are not synonyms. Just a friendly advice here.

I can honestly say that when I saw Ashley in the ME2 trailer, my heart leaped inside my chest and all those deep feelings of admiration and devotion came rushing back to me after two years time. I didn't expect it to happen, wasn't even thinking about it, however I ached inside wondering how long it would be until she and I would be reacquainted. Sadly ME2 doesn't give the satisfaction for my Shep to continue the romance dialog and deepen our relationship. I'm praying to the gods that ME3 will resolve this issue.

Seconded.
ME2 without Ash made sense, and I can live with it. Its a flat out great game.
But ME3 needs everyones favorite gunnery chief.

Honestly, if they knew Ash's actual "character" I bet Fox News would loooove Ash.
I remeber they had someone on Fox News telling them that very thing, a reporter they hired to play it. They were kind of indifferent...so was every news network honestly.

What happened in his playthrough *is* canon, as far his Shepard and the world around him/her is concerned. Mass Effect isn't like Star Trek; the only canon that matters is the one we make for ourselves.epoch_ wrote...
Its cute how you think what happened in your playthrough is cannon. Why anyone would be so opposed to a character and not just embrace all of them for their differences is beyond me.Mox Ruuga wrote...
True enough. But Tali is dead anyway, so who cares.DarthRic wrote...
Go for Ash, tali has chicken legs, plus her fans are creepy
That's funny, because by story's end, Ashley was the one urging me to open the relays so the Alliance could save the Council, even if it meant that thousands of humans would die.Lusitanum wrote...
