The pic after the hug she looks sad.
Maybe supposed to be mad. I see very sad.

She's having very mixed emotions. The person she's loved and thought dead for two years just appeared and rescued her.

On top of that he's working for a "terrorist organization"

She sounds exactly like an uneducated
Christian to me in ME2.

those are some greats pics of Ash.

I love the way she looks just before the hug.... I dont know why, but Ashley to me seems to be the most expressive of the characters in terms of facial expressions. you can always tell what shes feeling.

I agree, after eden prime, when you recover in the sick bay the way she looks over at you...she was undressing shep with her eyes lol.

I find it so stupid that Miranda, being made eye-candy didnt even turn out that pretty.

She was modeled after that chick from chuck, who to be honest, isnt really naturally pretty. And her tight outfit and everything, and the heels? LOL

And Ashley still trumps hers, cant wait to see her back in ME3.

the mere fact that she brings up religion and does so in a mature way added a lot of depth to her character IMO

Agreed

You know that old saw about atheist and fox holes?
I've been in a lot of fox holes.

Couldn't find the exact quote. Had to wing it.

@epoch_: Her polarized way of thinking(With Cerberus now=traitor!) and her demonizing which her beliefs do not approve(Cerberus is behind the Collectors!).

Just did Horizon with Garrus and Zaeed.

I was extremely surprised Zaeed did not say anything about how Ash reacted to me.

The whole scene still makes me sad, 4 playthroughs in.

yeah thats pretty much how it goes.

I actually would have liked an even deeper conversation with her on the subject, but I get why Bioware couldnt include something like that. some people can be.... overly sensitive. i mean, in the end its just a video game. its not like Bioware's out to make some kind of statement about racism or religion.

"Cerberus lets you **** around in that outfit?"

And those heels... God damn,  I did Miranda's loyalty mission first just in hopes that her alternate outfit would have actual practical footwear. And armor rather than latex  fetishist gear.

And Ashley still trumps hers, cant wait to see her back in ME3.

I don't really like the medium armor Ashley's got on either. While not quite as whorish as Miri's outfit, it's still unnecessarily form fitting and ugly. Ash looks much nicer in her casual alliance blue uniform.

Ashley and I will rain righteous fire down upon cerberus for their misdeeds in ME3 (provided the Bioware gods allow it)

Yes, I would've more exploration of Ash's religious/spiritual side. It's not even clear if she's Christian, or Muslim, or Jewish, or even means the God of Abraham at all. (Though with an anglophonic name like Ashley Williams, Christian seems most likely.) But I can see why Bioware decided not to court contreversy.

It's nice to know that all the humans in ME aren't soulless atheists.

Ashley's a tough sale. Alot of us didn't like how the Horizon discussion played out... so even those of us that were fans in ME1 are kinna... on the fence (to say the least).

I agree, I was a fan but after Horizon i'm kinda disappointed how the situation was handled. Unless they have a plan to hook back up in ME3 idk what to think.

I understand Ashley in ME2.
Considering all that cerberus did in ME1. Experimented on humans, killed soldiers, killed an admiral, ect.
I was mad at Shep for not having more to to say than,   It's been along time, how ya been.
Ashley was right to be mad. BW gave us no options.

Good point I think he should've sd a bit more. It really could've opened up a subplot for those two.

Yeah, I beleive they did this though to test the loyalty. I mean it would have been simple to go and cheat on Liara(If I had a carryover with her as the LI) just because I didn't care to much for her. I do agree though that there should have been more choices.
