I keep wondering what the underlying implications of "I'm not the same person I was" are. I mean, obviously it's been two years and people change sometimes, but I get the feeling that there's something we're not seeing and don't know with that. I want to hear the story of why she's a different person.

ya he has a point i mean i might have been the only one to think of this but what if she got hitched to your long lost brother or something crazy like that?

and the fact that she had just managed to get over shepard is a change in her feelings towards him. at least I think thats what she means. i dont know, it could be something else entirely.

yeah, thats what I'm anxious about.

everyone is saying that ashley/kaidan/liara are as good as in as squadmates. well.... theyre not. "integral role" does not equal "squadmate you can talk to and hang out with all the time". Saren played a pretty integral role, but he wasnt exactly your best friend. until Bioware says they are I refuse to get my hopes up.

Okay, maybe I'll get them a little up.

I'm still thinking we might see ME3 in time for Christmas 2011, possibly Spring 2012. ME2 took just a little over two years after ME3, and they've said they're already hard at work on ME3. They've also said that their goal has always been to complete the trilogy within the Xbox 360's lifetime, and I can't see that lasting much beyond 2012.

Sorry about that.
If ME3 were next month it would feel to long.
Maybe because ME2 felt to open ended to me.
Probably because Ash wasn't there. So many unanswered questions.
ME1 left me wanting more , but it in itself felt finished.

ME2 felt different.

yeah same. ME1 left me feeling reasonably content.

ME2.... not so much

Saw the email discussion a few pages back, and although I've made a point of it in a few other threads, I really hope Shepard learns to write email. It would've been nice, after Horizon, to say, "I understand where you're coming from, Ash, I appreciate the sentiment, you'll be in my heart."



And for me personally it would've been extremely gut-wrenching later on to send an email, "I care about you, Ash, and never want to hurt you, but you should know I've met someone..."



(It wasn't as bad as not being able to write his mom. Even SpacerShepard is a jerk.)
