Idea - give Ashley a lightsabre for close range combat... or as a bayonet!

"The X-55  lightweight bayonet uses mass effect fields to hold a suspension of iron-alloy particles in a cone, resulting in a very effective cutting edge even against modern body armour" :D

Love it.

The X-55 lightweight bayonet: a girl's new best friend.  :D

I thought that was the X-55b - exactly like the X-55 but with diamond particles :D

Ahh...I didn't see that one.  I will take two, you can never be too prepared.  Now I can kill baddies and still feel glamorous  :)

We can talk *later* "I'm commander Shepard, and this is my favourite bayonet on the market"

Hey gang. What's the topic of discussion today? Oh right. The most badass Operations Chief EVA!

...What did I miss? I've been obsessed with Twitter, and apparently Christina Norman has noticed our silly little universe over there. That's funny.

*chuckles* She has? And we were randomly talking about mass effect 'Particle Bayonets'...not lightsabres at all :innocent:

Particle Bayonets? *thinks about it, nods* yes...yes I think those would come in quite handy for close quarters combat OR festive re-enactments of the Civil War.

Yeah no lightsabres. You can't cross the streams of two universes. It would cause a chain reaction that would kill us all. Next it'll be Ash in a gold Leia bikini.

It would certainly make battle re-enactments more amusing :D

So, about this romance pack (DLC?) everyone is talking about... Lets assume that someday it is going to be released for real:
Do you think there is hope for us Ash fans? I mean, I´d be a happy person if Bioware included her, but it´s probably only for ME2 LI´s. :(

Heh, sadly I probably lack the photoshop skills to achieve it myself.

I've wrestled with this. As much as I'd love some extra Ash content before ME3, it worries me that it might be an excuse to lessen her role in it again. So I don't know. Romance DLC is awesome, but I'd rather see a natural, realistic portrayal of Ash and Shep mending the fences rather than "oh look! Everything must be fine now because Ash can come up to your cabin and sit on your lap!"

Aye.  It would feel a bit off in ME2 frankly. Some kind of Ash DLC would be nice, but I really don't think the relationship should start again until ME3.

I really think most of ME3 needs to be rebuilding the relationship. I would hope they wouldn't just toss them back in with an "okay I love you again" thing. They have a really awesome opportunity to play with that and make it just as intense and exciting and all fluttery as it was in ME1.

Hmm.... I doubt they will - I mean, they went to the effort of keeping them out of ME2 specifically so that they could be alive in ME3...

I'm so torn! On one hand I would love some Ash content in that. On the other I feel like the repair of the Shep/Ash Shep/Kaidan relationship is kind of integral to the story and there's a great chance to play with it in ME3. If it's as simple as an hour of play and a make-up kiss I don't know if I like that.
