Tali supporters outnumber us by at least 6 to 1. We are not Spartans, my friend. Even then, I have no problem with people who prefer Shep end up with Tali. Bioware willing, those of us who choose Shep to end up with the Miss Williams will get that. Fighting against Tali supporters does us no good, and may even make us looked at in a negative light. People, as stupid as it may be, think Ashley is racist as is. We (her supporters) do not need the image of a bunch of dumb, drunken idiots who fight everyone. Leave that label to the Dwarves.

I think Zaeed has less supporters.

Anyway, it´s not about the number of supporters, it´s about... i don´t know, but numbers alone aren´t enough.

Darth,I will question you no more. However, posts on page 350 to 360 something seem to suggest that you drew out the Tali hit squads. This may be due to fanboy stupidity on their part, which is likely.



As for my own feelings regarding Tali, I must admit, Excellent character if somewhat shallow. I cant be bothered to bring up my 2 paragraph post about her and Garrus, though know that I do love them both.



Out of the 2 ME games, The only character ive disliked that was on youre side was Jacob. He was just boring over all to me. I was hoping that seeing his father would bring out a truly emotional scene, But it did not really seem like it. It was evident that Jacob's father was a monster. Once I pointed that out to him, He still refused to shoot him.



This all being said, I assume Udina is a "bad" character and you are meant to dislike him from Shepard's point of view.



As a character, Udina is amazingly written. I hate him though. But I hate him the same way I hate Sovreign or the Reapers. Not like an "AWGH THIS GAME IS BROKEN, NEED EVERY PERSON TO BOW DOWN TO ME" kind of way, but a "WOW, WHAT A CHARACTER" kind of way.

There have been a lot of hate posts about Ashley regarding her faith. Which I couldn't understand - even though I don't share it I thought she was pretty non-intrusive about it, and I never had problems with her or her romance because of that.

Those hate posts seem to indicate that many people had such problems. Are they just a bunch of idiots or how do you think Ashley's faith comes across in ME1 - especially if you don't share it.



Another thing: over at the Miranda thread, we've been discussing how Ashley and Miranda might get along, assuming they're not rivals about Shepard in any one particular game. They are opposites is some personality aspects but very similar in others. There seemed to be a consensus that there is a potential for a great friendship, particularly if Miranda resigns from Cerberus at the end of ME2. What do you think?

ITs because there's alot of immature idiots who think "There should only be atheists in space!" And I say this as an Agnoistic leaning towards Atheism myself - I have a mild personal distrust of religious people, but I don't hate them for their faith - so long as they don't try and convert me or nowt - and I enjoyed talking to my former co-workers about their muslim faith - found it interesting.

Also, there are alot of rebellous teens who think that "Atheism == rejecting christianity" and can't stand religious people outright. I dunno, maybe its because I'm from the very secular UK, but its not really an issue here.

I think the religion thing really adds to her character. Off the top of my head, Ash and Thane are the only two who are open about it. So its pretty unique. I personally, am religious, so its a plus for me. And while I'm here, I'm fine with people not liking her because it really just comes down to tastes. Her character obviously doesn't appeal to everyone, but if someone dismisses the character because she's religious then that's just crazy and immature.

It also makes my blood boil to see people call her a racist or a bigot. <_<
