She is also not that good of a soldier. On Eden Prime, regardless of the reason she left her entire crew behind to die (By HERSELF!). She bolted. Then, she is upset when you question her competence. in ME2, nearly the entire colony was abducted and if it was not for Shepard she would have probably been dead. Yet, nonethless, after you save her behind for hundredth time, she decides to become all self-righteous and basically call you a traitor. Wow! Just wow!

Although, once i accepted the fact that ashley isn't gonna be my romantic interest.....miranda is looking hotter by the second. rebound maybe?
I went this way on my first playthrough. Didn't really care for the Miranda romance...felt more like a fling.
I agree, Miranda made me feel dirty afterwards, you're just talking then she's all lets shack up, but wait until I get done with this paperwork. Then after not talking for a while lets meet in the engin room. Ashely's felt more like a natural progression and real connection. Miranda it was just about sex.
Im not sure if the relationship with Miranda was all about sex, mainly because i stayed faithfull to ash and didn't fully explore it, but the relationship with Ashley did feel like a natural progression and there definately was alot more of a connection there, once you take the effort to get to know her character you realise she is one of the most complex and well thought out characters in the game, the relationship with Ashley feels alot more special considering there actually is a connection, alot of the other love interests are just alot more simple, i guess thats how some people like it, but Ashley is my girl!

People supporting Ashley seriously? Ashley Williams is without a doubt one of most annoying characters in the Mass Effect Trilogy. In fact, she is more of a whiner than Kaidan. She also has that annoying tough-girl personality that turns people off. Now, there is nothing being tough but when it is the foundation for blurting out inappropriate comments ("I can't tell the aliens from the animals"), randomly being rude to certain teammates (Liara), and being overall very undisciplined, then that is a problem.
She is also not that good of a soldier. On Eden Prime, regardless of the reason she left her entire crew behind to die (By HERSELF!). She bolted. They should indeed make her come back, but the scene on Horizon, where she just got loaded from the hard disk into memory and positioned to the left of the camera and was made to follow a walk animation with some useless information puke coming out of her mouth (as in B... no... Z grade movies)...
Well, that scene just sucked.
I actually thought I would hate that scene, but ended up loving it. It carried a great weight throughout the game. And Kimberly Brooks' super voice acting was really heartbreaking (if you romanced Ash).
OH GOD! WHERE WAS THE HUG INTERRUPT WHEN YOU NEEDED IT!?

But all the times I played ME 1 Ashley was my love interest. I never once could send her to die.
As I always say... more women = better.

I was dying for a super dramatic option to just say I LOVE YOU ASH! And go running after her or something lol.

I don't think the scene 'sucked' per se, but I was appalled by Ash's behaviour. Shep has literally been forced back to life, thrust back into the frontline, forced to work with a dubious group he doesn't trust, but he does it without complaint or whining because he refuses to give up fighting.
Now Ash comes on, not even bothering to welcome him back properly, and tells him to take a hike, throwing in 'traitor' with the whole thing too - while he's out here fighting for his species' survival. As far as I'm concerned she can take her email and shove it up her bot.

If you don't support Ashley Williams, don't post in the 'Ashley Williams support thread'.
I personally don't support either Tali or Garrus as squad mates in ME3, but I don't spam their support threads. It's disrespectful.

Haha
Yeah, the hug part was good, but... what came just before that... it was...
My heart rate skyrocketed and I was thinking "Wha, wha...?! Can't... stand... this... ****tiness... must... have... some... good... cinematics. *The hug part starts* *I catch my breath before starting to spew parts of the hart*"
It's one of those moments, you know... when the game starts stuttering or something, and you know a crash is coming, just moments before it BSODs or something. Except it was my brain that almost crashed.

well i just hope they make her a little more submissive and loving to shepard and not so manly in ME3.
You're missing the point. Ash isn't "submissive." She's not some timid little wallflower who needs Shepard to validate her existence by paying attention to her. Just because she's got a mouth on her and a take no bull**** attitude doesn't mean she's "manly." Like I said if you want a submissive lapdog, romance Tali.

Indeed, alot of people seem to hate Ashley for some reason, and then they feel the need to vent in the support thread.. keep it to yourselves! I think Garrus and Tali are both great aswell, but Ashley is number 1, to me atleast.

Is there anyway to transfer group leadership? I don't have feelings for Ash anymore.

Wow, you obviously dont understand what Ashley is like at all, you cant just change her character, alot of us love her because of the way she is, she is one of those characters you either love or hate, take the time to actually understand her and look abit more deeply into one of the best characters in the game, rather than just ask for her to be more submissive and less "manly" which she most definately isn't.
