I'm Commander Shepard and I support having Ashley back in ME 3 (so long as she's less of a cow to me: Why the hell would my Shep kidnap half a colony? Why!? And how?!).

Ash never thought Shep did that.
She thought cerberus might have done it.
She heard Shep might be working with cerberus, not that he was involved in taking colonies.
She knows he saved Horizon.

Saved her again.

Well.. ok... but it felt very acusing of her. And my Shep was dead for 2 years - its not like he could write or anything. I mean, I know she was emotionally over reacting, but she did make me feel like a jerk when it wasn't my fault. So I went to Miranda cus Ashley pretty much said it was over <_< Or thats how I read it.

My second play through was using a no romance save from the database and ended up with Tali.

She dosent break up with you lol, did you not read the email she sends you? She say's sorry and also that she loves you.

Yeah, but by then I'd already over half way romanced Miranda (rebound). I was like, "Crap... you could have sent this earlier!"

Pretty much! I was like, God damnit, we have the technology to read emails, display holograms, and fly at FTL speeds, but we can't respond to email? My iPhone can do that!

Nice! That was the one thing I didn't like in ME 1 about her - I mean, the tied up hair makes sense in combat, especially when helmets are required, but she even had it up when they where in bed together.

Necks are good, but I like to see actual hair on a woman. But each to their own.

Btw, am I the only one who thought it was really odd most of the characters in ME 2, when in vacuum exposed areas, didn't have full body suits? I mean, Samara had her push up suit with so much cleavage you could fit a planet in it. I'm pretty sure vacuum exposer on the skin is lethal. That means you too Joker (in the prologue).

At least Ashley, Wrex, and Tali had full body protection.

I'd love to see what Ash looks like with her hair down, too, but she just kind of seems like a "hair up" kind of woman to me. I think she'd look lovely either way.

I think that's a big part of what first drew me to Ashley. I find Latin women incredibly attractive, so going after Ashley was a no-brainer for me when I first played ME1. Then I had Shepard start talking to her and getting to know her; I was pleased that BioWare put a lot of work into making her a deep and interesting character.

It's funny, we complain about this all the time in the Miranda thread. That petite little breather doesn't protect your eyes or skin.

And vacuum exposure on your skin isn't lethal, but you wouldn't be happy you did it. It WILL make you go blind, though, after maybe a minute or so. Joker in the prologue at least has a full helmt, if it had oxygen, and he was picked up by the shuttle early, he would recover and be fine.

LOL
How about the flotila.
Tali says we need  security and decontamintion teams. Our ship is not clean.

True, but its not just Miranda. Most of them have little to no protection against the void of space. Mordin has his eyes completely unprotected, Samara has her cleavage and face out, Thane has an open trenchcoat...

About the only characters with real space suits are Garrus, Grunt, and Tali. Technically Legion too, but he's vacuum proof.

Yeah, this was a big WTF for me in ME2. I can understand that BioWare wanted the players to be able to see the characters' faces, but they didn't seem to have a problem with covering them up in ME1, so why the switch in ME2?

Heh, very true. I was like..."Skin? Hair? (on Samara) Cleavage?" - though if you read the second novel, the asking for "Security and Decontamination Teams" is standard procedure, and more a common politeness than anything else.

I did read the books.

Didn't visitors have to wear enviromental suits also?
If i remember right they did.

Agreed. I mean, why not give them Joker-style helmets if you wanna see their faces. And skin protection.

Yup - I believe the humans on the Quarian ships wore Quarian suits. But I think its more a double layer of protection against contamination given the Quarians wore the suits even on their own ships.

Agreed. About the only thing I didn't like about her was her God thing - I dunno, I just find religious people unsettling. Maybe its because I'm English and we only pretend to worship god.

I'm not religious myself, but I have no problem with people who are. I only find them unsettling when they try to force their beliefs on me or anyone else, even if we've already made it clear that we're not interested. I played my Shepard pretty much the same way. Ashley didn't get pushy about her religion, so he had no problem with her.

True and that was why I was still cool with her. But its like "If God created us, he created the aliens too, so why are you against them?" :D

That said, Latina women are hot too. And she was nice, aside from the mild xenophobia - and she seemed to be mostly over that by the end of ME 1

I really enjoyed the god talks with Ashley. Nice part of her character. imho.
There are those people who didn't like Ash's god talks but its ok for liara or thane.
I never understand them.  Not saying you. You just made me think of them.

I don't think Rambo 46 will give up his post or get fired from it.
He might need a helper.

Well, I didn't mind the talks... its just people who go on about God tend to be trying to religiously convert you. At least in my experience. Including an annoying guy in a highstret once who was a 'missionary from America' - felt mildy insulted to have a colonial try and convert the homeland. *Smokes the pipe of imperialism with a monocle*

But really, Ashley had a great personally as I said.
