Well, I think they shouldn't change existing characters' sexuality. Sexuality is a vital part of our identities; no matter what was originally planned.

I would have a problem with it. Like I said, I dont want old characters changed because they feel like it. It would alter them and it would be dumb to change them. And plus, they knew having them straight would be better, why do you think the bi part was cut?

If it came up in conversation i dont think they would actually say that they are bi, i think it would probably just act out the same way as it does with maleShep they will show attraction and ask if he/she is intrested in them. I think new caracters would be better made bi or gay  than old caracters though, but some people want it and bi makes everyone happy to some extent i guess.

They cut that part out of worry most likely, not any artistic integrity.  The fact that they allow the modded romance to carry over without issue seems to point to BW wanting Ash to have been open to that type of romance and caved to some pressure elsewhere.

Well, some people don't even realize that they're attracted to the same sex until late in life. It wouldn't be completely unbelievable if Ash suddenly reciprocated feelings for a femShep or something. She might have suppressed those feelings before because of her moral beliefs or she just might have never had those feelings before. I can understand why some people would dislike it, but I don't think it would cheapen her character at all. Just my opinion though.

Shepards dialogue is the same LI or not. The only ones who changes is Ash. The game realizes she was your romance and has her say her line. It wasnt intended.

I stand by my opinion. If they make any exsisiting characters Bi, I will lose respect for that character and Bioware. Theyre not gonna change.

By making her bi wont change anything on your maleShep playthrough unless she actually says she is bi, it will only add the option for her as a LI to femShep. Making Ash bi i guess will please the femSheps who want her as a LI i think there is a few i dunno. But if it changes her personality then no, if it just adds that option for her to femSheps then im all for it.

True enough. I'm just speaking from my experience as a straight-as-an-arrow male and I doubt I hold any busexual tendencies. Though, I do know many suppress those feelings. Ashley desn't seem like a homophobe to me. imo

There were lines that always seemed flirty.  Hell, the femShep exclusive "I'll talk to you later, ma'am" (paraphrase)had a sexual vibe to it.  So I was surprised when it turned out that she was not open to a femShep romance in an unmodded game.  Everything set up for it.
