That's true. I seem to constantly overlook the Cerberus aspect. Since they all effectively work for Shepard now (and I assume the Alliance?), maybe it won't be as big of a deal. Well, at least not with Jacob. I think it will take a lot to bring her to see eye-to-eye with Miranda. If they ever do, however, I could definitely see them bonding, in a way. She might not like him for joining cerberus I could imagine. The same with Miranda, I foresee some rivalry there and not just for obvious reasons.
I´d say they are both hard working perfectionists. The difference is, that Miranda was supported by TIM and grew with every mission she succesfully completed for Cerberus, whereas Ash was permanently treated badly and the Alliance wasted her potential on backwater planets until Shepard showed up.
She might not be as intelligent as Miranda and her skills are only in the military area, but if she has a mission to accomplish, she gives everything to do it.
And now im going to bed and hopefully dream of a Shep/Ashley/Miranda squad.:innocent:
