I did post a longer reply 50 pages back that was ignored and since then Ive only been lurking.
The last pages however have been containing more then oneliners so as Kab said about sticking around , things does improve over time.
On the subject , no I wasnt surprised either that Ash didnt join Shep , first command and all but also that spooks (spectres) that are claimed to be dead that later show up is usually just a case of going undercover and from that perspective I guess she's rather upset that he didnt contact her someway or another , that is assuming the Lazardus project isnt common knowledge , it seemed like a one timer.
Also agree with the above poster

That may not be neccessary. If you destroy the base and cut your connections with cerberus you are probably seen as one of the good guys and since you have saved humanity (again), what reason can Ash/Kaiden have not to join you again. ( i think her mail shows that she still trusts shepard as a person, but she cannot be at his side for various reasons)
On the other hand, drama is always a good thing in a space opera
I think that works for those who do blow up the base, but they'd need a way to put Ash/Kaidan on the Normandy for those who give the base to Cerberus also.
And good morning, Ash fans!

Perhaps ME3 will have a loyalty monitor ala DA:O
I would certainly prefer the relationships to be more like DA:O none of this waiting til the last scene to get it on and actually feeling like you were in a relationship with the kissing etc. I lke the loyalty meter so would be a welcome addition to ME3 IMO

I havent played DA:O yet but i have heard good things about the romances in it, and yes with caracters we are already in a relationship with like Ash we should be allowed simple things like kissing.

I wasn't a great fan of Dragon Age Origins, it was alright but I just prefered mass effect, also the approval meter is a bit flawed since you have them warm toward you, and the next thing you know you handed them a gift and they are completly loyal to you, in mass effect 2 you could understand the sudden change from unloyal to loyal because of the significance of the personal quest, just my opinionBECC4 wrote...

It worked well with the gifts, but I dont see it happening in ME3.
What I missed in ME2 was the journal with the "chat log". Thats more important to me.

Something like that would be welcome. Although, in DA also 'consumating' the relationship tended to be about the last thing you did (except with Zev and Morrigan), since you couldn't do that until you got the bar up to nearly 100 which didn't happen until the dialogue was pretty much done.

I missed this big time!
Saying that, I wouldn't want Shep to be able to resume the relationship with Ash straight away, would seem too fake after what happens in ME2, they need to repair it and trust eachother again.

This, I'm not suggesting, hey, you're back, bam lets sleep together hug hug, kiss kiss. More of the angsty stuff at first, slowly starting to trust each other again, hug hug, kiss kiss

Yeah, but she is a woman and therefore you never really know what she does when you meet her face to face next time.
Hug, Kiss, smack to the face? Everything is possible.

I know but there must be some friction still between them, I mean they're not just gonna go straight back to being in a rock solid relationship I mean she hasn't actually said they're still together, I expect initial uncertainty if nothing else

Agreed!
The dialogue will be similar whether she's you LI or not. The best way to cover this is to have friction between you and Ash, afterall you don't get the email if she's not your LI. I don't think they'll distrust each other...more along the lines of 'let's get used to being together before being romantic'.
