I remember in ME1 I convinced her to stop being such a racist jackoff.

She was never really racist, just suspicious of aliens and doubtful that they'd accept us and trust us. And judging by the Council's reaction to the Reaper threat (in ME1 AND ME2), she was right.

The council don't not trust us. Their just politicians (aka idiots). That transcends species ;)

Yeah, but the majority of the other species is running to be our friends either. There are a few strong ones, like Wrex and Kaidan, who get that we all be da same, but the majority is distrustful, disdainful, even hostile. Turian Councillor, most batarians, turian bartender, turian traveler, that weepy asari who sold star charts, a sizable portion of the Quarians (especially Admiral Xen), Saren, maybe 1/3 of the volus, and the vorcha. Elcor and Salarians seem to be pretty friendly. Krogan hate most living things, including each other.

Gasp - people treat other people like crap? Noooo

And the Turian counciler is an ass. "Ah yes, 'ass's' *finger quotes* A region of muscle and fat that forms the area between thighs and the back and contains the exit for solid body waste. We have dismissed such claims."

As for the Batarians, the codex is pretty clear humanity don't like them either. Humanity won the right to colonize a vast area of space they considered their own - they lost, we won, there is alot of tension, only added to by the fact Batarian slavers keep raiding the remoter colonies.

The Turian barkeep seemed friendly enough though...? And what Turian traveller?  Saren was an evil bugger. The Volus have a low option of everyone - remember that one who acquised the Quarian of stealing?

Same with the Vorcha - they hate everyone.

What I'm saying is only a few of them hate humans on principle, the rest just hate people on general.

Side note: Gathering Allies is going to be the biggest part of ME3.

If Geth and Quarians can be reconciled, thats gonna have to happen.

Rachni, Turians, Asari, Salarians,Humans,Krogan, and elements of the Batarians that can be convinced to support us against the Reapers are all going to have to come together.

I think the problem mainly is going to be to convince the Council that the Reapers are here though. They are such fools.

Hoping for a huge victory celebration on the Citadel after we beat the Reapers, with Shepard replacing Anderson (who will die) as a Councilor.

Shep would only be 33 though....Jon Grissom fought into his late 40s and was still a force to be reckoned with in his 50s.

I think after the Reapers are beaten though, That Shep will want to be done with fighting.

He even says so to Grunt. Grunt says something like, May youre enemies always be strong, and if they are weak, I will have to kill you.

Shep says "I dont want to do this forever Grunt. Once we beat the Reapers, thats it, Im done."

Yeah I'm thinking ME3 will definitely be the "gathering the army" part of the story.

Quarians, Krogan, Rachni and Geth will be particularly important to the story I think. But I'm thinking there will also have to be some aid from Turians, Asari and the Alliance. I think the Alliance will be in major play again.

ME2 was about feeling alone I think (which is another reason the Ashley Horizon scene worked). Humanity was kind of in it on its own. ME3 will be the grand epic conclusion.

And I was actually pleasantly surprised when Shepard told Grunt "we won't be living like this forever" or whatever he said. My Shepard is a spacer and a soldier through and through. He's ALWAYS working, rarely takes shore leave and he IS the job basically. But I can see how saving the galaxy like three times and dying in the process at least once can make you think "maybe I'll take a goddamned vacation when this is over."

Said vacation will most definitely involve plenty of alone time with Ash.

Yupp.....

Eden Prime was supposed to be a Paradise world?

Once the Reapers are beat, Ill find another Paradise world.

But, before that, I have to tell off the Turian Councilor.

Edit: We do kind of have a pretty impressive force though.

The Turian Fleet is massive. The Rachni Fleet, Once rebuilt, will be a real force to be reckoned with.
The Quarian Fleet has over 50 thousand ships, But only like 600-900 are armed.

The Geth Fleet is speculated to be bigger than the Turians (Various Codex logs about how strong the Geth actually are..... They have a pretty nice Fleet. Dont know about Dreadnoughts, Because they dont build ships like we do, But Id like to see it.) The Alliance Fleet (pending what you did with the Council) Is about 1/4th the strength of the Turians, But that is still pretty impressive.

I also think that we have another Normandy, Either in production or already out and just top secret.
Leads me to even more speculation though. I wondered how the Collector ship saw Normandy SR1..... Did they somehow watch it go FTL? Thats supposed to be impossible....

I saw speculation by others that the Alliance has 4 Normandy's, excluding SR1. People thought that a couple of people in the Alliance would invest, once they saw what SR1 did to Sovreign at the Citadel.

So many questions to be answered.

Although by "vacation" I mean several different spots, some of them beachy, maybe a cold place in the mountains that requires daily hot tub activities as well.

And they're not the types to sit around so I also imagine a lot of rock climbing, hiking and adventurous stuff...which will make their muscles ache which is the reason they'll need the hot tub. Yes....yes THAT'S the reason they'll need the hot tub.

Fanfic or it didn't happen.

Also - Ash and Shep cuddled up in front of a fire at their log cabin in the mountains is a total squee! moment!

Although, thinking back to Noveria, Ash wasn't that impressed with all the snow and coldness and stuff.

We are going to need 4 more Normandys to beat the Reapers.

Even with the Quarian Fleet fully armed (And I dont even want to think about how expensive that would be.)

To be fair I suppose finding out your boyfriend is not only still alive but hasn't called you in two years would make just about any woman cranky.
