I actually see Ash getting along with Jacob, as their both soldier types. If she ever gets over the fact that he left the alliance and went to cerberus at any rate.

Given her family's military history, I doubt Ash would put up with Jacob's Alliance-bashing.

I see no reason ME2 characters would leave...
I imagine a mashup of all char's from both 1 and 2. Unlikely, but would be epic. B)

Just being realistic here, but given that everyone in ME2 'cept Joker can die, I think their involvement in ME3 will be pretty limited at best.

A lot of people say that, but I don't think it'll be that way. I mean, most player who lost a lot of squadmates probably did so on purpose. I think they'd prefer to run through the game with a short squad. Plus, the 6 LIs almost have to come back, except for Thane.

I imagined Tali and Ash as good friends
As for ME2 characters involvement, I say LI's will come back, anyone else is probably a no go. Maybe a cameo at most.

Seeker swarm took care of him already. Saved me trouble.

I believe the majority of ME2 characters will be in ME3 too as crew members, except those that said they leave after the collector mission like Samara.
It is after all very easy to finish ME2 without any casualties, and most people will have one of these saves or just start fresh in ME3.

Like I said earlier, ME3 could only have Ash, and it would be win.
I hope they dont juggle more than 10 characters, considering this would make everyone get less conversations. I liked how many conversations everyone got in ME1. They were long and there was a good amount of them. I hope Ash/Kaiden or Liara doesnt get the back seat with amount of dialogue in ME3. In theory, we should get a helluva lot more considering we waited for so long and we were loyal.
