You roped me into this, I take no responsibility... *ahem* If Shepard said that to Liara or *certain quarian who had best go unnamed* she would probably respond with some variant of "Oh, Shepard!"

I didn't want to make the comparison, since I do like both the compared-to characters. You made me.:bandit:

Shepard: "Everyone has baggage. The trick is to find a matching set."

Ashley: "Gosh, you're awful!"

 Gets me every time.

I didnt like how she always put me down though.:crying:

I always went for the middle options after that so she wouldnt say those things to my Shep.

Aw I don't think she was putting him down.  But she did call him out on some of his more adorkably corny lines.  Ash just isnt' a mushy type so she didn't know what to do with that.  Besides I think they both kind of like to jab at each other and kid around.  I wouldn't take it so hard. :)

The only time I ever felt like an ass talking to someone was Jacob in ME2. I felt like we were making friends, then I'd ask him about himself, then he'd condescendingly say "already? I'm not one for forcing these talks blah blah" and I'm like jeez sorry! It's not like I wanted to nail you or something.  /end ot rant.

That wasnt to bad, the worst thing to me was the... joking after the romance scene.

Didnt take it offensively just wish she could be... serious sometimes.

It's funny. Everyone was too busy cleaning the engines/calibrating/dont wanna force talks/there's a lot to do shepard/i wish to meditate (samara)/i wish to meditate (thane)/i should let you go talk more later shepard/humans talk too much/building consensus/perhaps later trying to determine scale itch

The only one who wants to talk to maleshep is the extremely anti-social biotic.

What do you mean exactly?

Liara or Tali would probably not... joke as Ashley does Id think.
(Not saying its bad or anything, and Im not trying to cause a flame war.)

I am also replaying ME1. I missed Ash.

I think I have developed a talent for making people mad when that wasn't my intention.

I thought that was cute too. ^_^  Just depends on what you like I guess.

The "would you roll your eyes..." option always makes me laugh because of the way she responds with a giggle and "yesss."

I never liked the "can't you ever be serious?" comment because I always thought Shepard should be in a MUCH better mood after that.

I definitely prefer the "You still sassin' me, soldier?" response.  :P

As for Tali or Liara, they just dont' have the same kind of sense of humor as Ash.  I think both of them are really drawn in by the corny comments and probably say something equally as mushy.  Ash totally loves those comments too, but she can't let you know that. ^_^

I like that she say's that it's very smart, that by saying that not only is she showing her personality and that she is human, she is also showing us that Shepard is human and aint perfect at everything. Good job on that Bioware.

Now im off for real this time lol night *salutes*

What does she say to that?

I never picked that option.

Hey fellow Talimancers and ashleymancers! Just finished a game of MW2 where my mouth-breathing teammates were giving my opponents killstreaks *takes breath* luckily BC2 is a real stress reliever.
BTW somebody, how did you upload that pic as your profile picture? that and the "that's what she said" pic.

Shep:  You still sassin' me soldier? I think you need more physical training.
Ash: Tsk. Now what will it take to prove I'm im prime condition, skipper?

<3

EDIT:  Ninja'd by Liam. ;)

Oh and like what Funkcase said.  Ash is the only character in the Mass Effect universe that interacts with Shepard like he's a real person.  Well Kaidan too I guess.  But it's the little things like Ash calling him out on his little comments that make you realize "ha!  Shepard isn't good at something!"  It's refreshing.  Like she's the only person that can really fluster him.

Yeah, Ashley feels very real. A bit more so then Kaidan IMO because Kaidan is a bit of a softie.
(I still like him too though.)

I think I will head out. I think somethings I was saying earlier were taken personally. And some left mad. If I was misunderstood. Sorry. I was just worried about the direction of the thread. I want people to feel comfortable coming here. I was worried that it might slide into character bashing. I didn't want that. So if I upset anyone , Sorry.

Well there's only the one Arts and Entertainment wedge so as long as your good at Leasure Activities, Science, or History you should be good...

Ahhhh Trivial Pursuit.  I was looking for one of those and the only one's I could find were movie versions or dumbed down versions.  Very annoying.

Oh, Liam.  You're on of the nicest guys on the forum.  Anyone who's spent anytime here knows that.  Don't be self concious.
