Ideas on how we/Shep could get Ash's family name cleared? After the whole not telling her you are alive thing this could help get her back.

She already loves you dude. E-mail proves it.
But that would be a good loyalty mission, if done right.

Not that she dosen't love Shep its just not calling is a real dick move this shows that he still cares. Actions speaking louder than words.

A plot enforced dick move though, I went to the citadel immediately in my first playthrough in order to find her.

Alas. I did this too.  I think as far as forgiveness and being on friendly terms again it won't be much of a problem for Ash and Shepard.  The romance is a whole other bag.  That's over two years of not being together and Ash living life as normal people do.  There's a lot of catching up to do and really getting to know each other again in a way.  There is no quick fix.  Even if they meet again and in an emotional moment fall into each others' arms and kiss and make love and all that it doesn't erase the issues that they'll no doubt have to deal with in ME3.  I would really like to see Shepard and Ashley rebuild their friendship, trust and romance during the course of ME3.  It will be such a copout for ME3 to start and have them both go "okay I love you again hooray everything is awesome."

that would suck i would feel cheated and like the game was not what it should of been, even though for shep it has only been like a day for him but two years for her to well try and get over him

Yeah, I agree they should rebuild, but if romanced her in ME1 and stayed loyal and everything, than the relationship should be more intimate as it progresses.

Very true. I agree with you, though in less eloquent terms.

Bioware really needs to play off of this potential.  The tension and conflict in their relationship throughout ME3 could be a majorly satisfying sub-plot if done well.

I agree, I just hope it doesnt forget and drop everything they went through before. I hope their past relationship shows while it rebuilds and progresses further, like I said make it more intimate, and put more dialogue in if you previously romanced her and stayed loyal.

Yeah, I just hope they dont give a passing mention to their previous relationship and just start fresh. I hope there old relationship always shows while you continue with her.
You know what I mean?

Agree with you Xtreme

If they treat Ashley as a LI just the same as any other LI i will be disappointed and ticked off. Shep and Ash have history. It should show. I have pitchforks and torches bioware. Just saying.

This is a good point. I hadn't really thought much about how the relationship should start up again. It should go slow at first. I better get my happy ending though Bioware or their will be heck to pay. Heck I tell you.

Nah. Only the 'real' romances do that (Jack, Miranda, Tali). Flirting with Samara and Kelly as much as you want seems like it will be consequence free.
