Dunno never played a cheating Maleshep.

I did an experiment save, and it doesnt turn down the picture.

Neither does flirting with kelly, but I'm sure that might have some impact.

If they treat Ashley as a LI just the same as any other LI i will be disappointed and ticked off. Shep and Ash have history. It should show. I have pitchforks and torches bioware. Just saying.

I think all of the Li's will have equally deep stories, its going to be up to u which one your shep partakes in.  I like Ash, but it just wouldnt be fair to make a grand love story for her and just slap togeather something for everyone else.

Nah. Only the 'real' romances do that (Jack, Miranda, Tali). Flirting with Samara and Kelly as much as you want seems like it will be consequence free.

It might be. I still don't do it. It wouldn't feel right to me. But thats how I am.

Yeah for my ash playthrough I basically right of the bat told kelly to keep it professional. lol.

Not that she dosen't love Shep its just not calling is a real dick move this shows that he still cares. Actions speaking louder than words.

I did this too.  I think as far as forgiveness and being on friendly terms again it won't be much of a problem for Ash and Shepard.  The romance is a whole other bag.  That's over two years of not being together and Ash living life as normal people do.  There's a lot of catching up to do and really getting to know each other again in a way.  There is no quick fix.  Even if they meet again and in an emotional moment fall into each others' arms and kiss and make love and all that it doesn't erase the issues that they'll no doubt have to deal with in ME3.  I would really like to see Shepard and Ashley rebuild their friendship, trust and romance during the course of ME3.  It will be such a copout for ME3 to start and have them both go "okay I love you again hooray everything is awesome."

that would suck i would feel cheated and like the game was not what it should of been, even though for shep it has only been like a day for him but two years for her to well try and get over him

In some ways I want them to rebuild their relationship again and sort of fall in love all over again b/c starting ME3 with like you said, "omg we still love each other! yay" would be really lame...

on the other hand, I have a feeling that if bioware wants to have us "rebuild" the relationship.... they will just pretend like we never romanced her to begin with... that way they can also cater to the players who haven't romanced her before... that would suck even worse than the "everthing is suddenly fine" scenario.

Ideally, they should have Ash and Shepard go crazy with passion when they first meet in ME3 and then over the course of the story remember why they loved each other and fall in love all over again. While at the same time having the players who've never romanced her have a shot as well. Too bad that's probably way too much work for bioware.

lol my first playthrough on ME 2 i cheated on ash with tali and jack, as well as flirted with samara, miranda, and kelly(she died).  That was pimpegade shep. My 2nd time through tho i'm going with paragade(I like to call it Dirty Harry) shep. I think my shep can keep in his pants this time around. :innocent:

This is a good point. I hadn't really thought much about how the relationship should start up again. It should go slow at first. I better get my happy ending though Bioware or their will be heck to pay. Heck I tell you.

It will be easy for Bioware to have Ash agree to work with Shepard again. That's no big deal.  They have a history of mutual respect, they work well together and they both have their goals set to taking down the real threat.  Boom.  That part is done.  I've just fixed it for Bioware. 

Like I said the interesting thing will be building the relationship again.  Now if you didn't romance her the dialogue should still be about re-building the friendship, the working relationship, getting to know how each other works now, etc. 

All Bioware needs to do is add a few more dialogue options (and an emotional cut scene or two)  in there if you romanced her.  Problem solved.

Pay me, Bioware.

Wasn't saying they should take anything away from anybody really. I am just saying it should be treated different.  Shep and Ash have history that should be part of it. If they just gloss over it and treat it like a new romance. That would be wrong.

I agree here.  All the love interests should have their conclusion.  I think what he was trying to say is that the history between them in general from ME1 (even just friendship) should really be acknowledged.  (Um...is that what you were saying?  haha)

In ME2, Ashley was in the game for about five minutes, and she got a good amount of references showing Shep and her had history.
-Ashleys picture
-Ashley hugs you, and said she loved you
-Joker mentions it after Horizon
-Kelly mentions it after Horizon
-Ashley picture scene

She was in the game for five minutes and their were plenty of references to their relationship, I want plenty of evidence in ME3, while Im talking to Ash, about our previous relationship. I dont want a 100% clean slate.
Anyone agree with this?
