Ideas on how we/Shep could get Ash's family name cleared? After the whole not telling her you are alive thing this could help get her back.
But that would be a good loyalty mission, if done right.
Alas. I did this too. I think as far as forgiveness and being on friendly terms again it won't be much of a problem for Ash and Shepard. The romance is a whole other bag. That's over two years of not being together and Ash living life as normal people do. There's a lot of catching up to do and really getting to know each other again in a way. There is no quick fix. Even if they meet again and in an emotional moment fall into each others' arms and kiss and make love and all that it doesn't erase the issues that they'll no doubt have to deal with in ME3. I would really like to see Shepard and Ashley rebuild their friendship, trust and romance during the course of ME3. It will be such a copout for ME3 to start and have them both go "okay I love you again hooray everything is awesome."
In some ways I want them to rebuild their relationship again and sort of fall in love all over again b/c starting ME3 with like you said, "omg we still love each other! yay" would be really lame...
on the other hand, I have a feeling that if bioware wants to have us "rebuild" the relationship.... they will just pretend like we never romanced her to begin with... that way they can also cater to the players who haven't romanced her before... that would suck even worse than the "everthing is suddenly fine" scenario.
Ideally, they should have Ash and Shepard go crazy with passion when they first meet in ME3 and then over the course of the story remember why they loved each other and fall in love all over again. While at the same time having the players who've never romanced her have a shot as well. Too bad that's probably way too much work for bioware.
I honestly hope new players DON'T get the chance to romance Ash. I feel like that would require an entire new set of dialogue options. Whatever! Just make someone NEW for the new people to romance. Not everything has to be accessible to everyone.
And I LOVE the idea of a grand, emotional, passionate reunion followed by "oh yeah, now we have to get real."

Keep ME3 strictly for the fans!!! If they havent played Mass Effect by now, they're not jumping in at the end of the trilogy. A small few, and I mean few, would buy ME3 without any previous knowledge of the series, and I pray Bioware doesnt appeal to these idiots.

Hate to say it but u might be a little dissapointed with ME 3 cause they are DEFINETLY going to try to encourage new people to play it and in doing so they will allow them a chance to romance anyone. Plus(I think i said this already) the detail in each Li's story its going to be equal. Their not going to give the other li's sparklers and than give Ashley the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. If they put that much detail into the romance's they would spend year just coding the different romantic scenerio's in the game. Remember its still an action RPG they got alot of stuff that needs to go in it, i just dont think their putting THAT much stock into any of the Li's. Even Ash <_<

Oh I agree with you in thinking they'll market to new players. I was just mentioning that it would be a stupid idea. I forgot to mention that I'm fully aware that Bioware will do the dumbest thing possible when it comes to this.
(Not about the stories being equal, that would be cool. The other thing.)

That's basically what I was saying... don't get your hopes up for having this huge thing with Ash. Especially since I believe they will cater to the potential "new" fans, just like they did in ME2. That's the reason Ash was kept out... they didn't want to "confuse" people who didn't know who she was. Lame as hell if you ask me.callofdoobie wrote...

All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain..we can be like they are
Come on baby...don't fear the reaper
Baby take my hand...don't fear the reaper
We'll be able to fly...don't fear the reaper
Baby I'm your man...

Part two was Attack of teh Clone's not that dark, the thrid was alot more dark than the second.
If ur refering the time george lucas puked on a film reel and sold it for billions i have forggoten that happend. I only know of 3 star wars films sry
I don't see why everyone hates episodes 1-3 .... I thought they were almost as good as the originals. I mean, how can you not like clone troopers, order 66, and seeing how darth vader came to be.

All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain..we can be like they are
Come on baby...don't fear the reaper
Baby take my hand...don't fear the reaper
We'll be able to fly...don't fear the reaper
Baby I'm your man...
Not bad I still preffer the following tho.
Mandálii kote, su'van
ca'atrë!
Racin grualé'ra ktro'li bellitha'an.
su'varía, scévii la'duthlam.
cu'di'ra tavl'o kel'lum.
And with this I'm out for the night see you all later.
