Obviously I wouldn't mind the plot role to be interchangeable with Kaidan, but as far as special dialogue between her and Shepard, I would appreciate it if they weren't exactly the same...



I know it might take a few extra minutes of writing, but comon.

The sad thing is, this is probably what will happen.

I think ME2 was a bit of a reboot for the series. While ME1 was popular, a lot of new people came aboard for ME2 because of the new combat.

I still have hopes.

I have faith in bioware on the gameplay aspect but it seems like they have become less concerned with charachter interaction and more with being smart asses.  Dragonage was amazing but most of the dialogue options are just smartass comments(diffrent developing teams tho)

It would be more beneficial for the game to be fan service to previous fans of the series, not just Ash fans, instead of cater to noobs. If they cater to the noobs, they will lose a helluva lot more fans than they would gain.
I have hope, I just dont want ME3 to become a MOD2, cash in on sales and just f*ck over the loyal fans.

Well they cater to the noobs they have to.But I am hopeful that between this thread, what they started in ME1 and the (small) hope they gave us with the e-mail we will see a prominent return of Ash in ME3.

Not sure about the Tali thread, but a lot of people ARE concerned that the ME2 interests will get the cameo treatment.
