Not sure about the Tali thread, but a lot of people ARE concerned that the ME2 interests will get the cameo treatment.

I really have no idea how they'll handle it. On one hand banishing all to cameo land renders me2 pretty much pointless, and on the other, I can't see them bringing back some love interests and not others.

The idea I follow most is that they'll bring back the LIs only, which would please the most amount of people while still presenting a particularly powerful squad.

I don't know that they will "play favourites" with the noobs but they have to make it accessible to people just getting into or trying the series. That said it could be something like the debriefing with Miranda or it could be a part of the initial game setup where you have to decide who lives and who dies what happens with the council, unless you are carrying over in which case your decisions are already made and you get the bonus of having experienced it.

Thats 8 people which would probably be the perfect number of squad mates as 10/11 is too much and the ME1 squad felt a little sparse. Gah, but then you got people who might not have 2 or 3 of them. I suppose you could also have alt characters for the ones who died, but now you got a whole lotta possible squad mates.

Talking about this has given me the feeling they're going to start over again...

I would say liara would make a comeback for sure, but then you got a million butthurt fans of the other LIs.

The problem is the possibility of potential squad mates. Even if you only choose 8 or so, you still have to do everything it would normally take if you had a team of 15 or so.

START OVER????? Hell NO.
Like I said, if only LI's came back, if every squadmate got a cameo, including poor old Thane, then:
Ash/Kaiden
Liara
Garrus
Tali
Miranda
Jack
Jacob
Thats eight people. Add barely any squadmates, dont hire anymore famous people, and take out a few old ones that arent needed, than they could pull this off, and give us ALL of what we deserve.

5 of those 7 are possibly dead.

Since I'm being so down about it, I'll give you guys some hope, ME3 probably won't be designed like ME2. In that 90% of the content and missions probably, hopefully, won't revolve around character developments. So, with that, they could actually bring back absolutely everyone because just doing VA work isn't really that huge of a deal when all the characters pretty much comment about the same thing.



I also like the idea of picking 8 or 10 out of all possible squad members.

I don't think u guys are giving bioware enough credit, i'm sure their going to make it known that your import should have a decent amount of ppl still left alive if u want the full experience. Personally I don't feel bad for anyone who lost a squad member because there is a good chance it was laziness or stupidity.



And yes this includes everyone who made Grunt the squad leader......WHY WOULD U NOT TRUST GARRUS!!!

I'm here to throw my support in for Ash, gonna eventually start another ME1 run so i can stay loyal to her for ME3
