Ashley's a tough sale. Alot of us didn't like how the Horizon discussion played out... so even those of us that were fans in ME1 are kinna... on the fence (to say the least).

Yeah I'd like to to see the END of Ashley after that crap she pulled! Ungrateful ice queen.
But if she comes back with that bikini in the first post I could be persuaded. :innocent:

I love the fact that Ashley challenges Shepard. No one else does this. Every other person in the game is able to be persuaded in some way, ends up fawning all over him or falling in love with him no matter what. But not Ash. Which is why some people are put off by it. They can't deal with their Shepard being in the wrong or not being the ALPHA! guy. It bruises their ego to have someone call them out on anything. All I know is that I hope for ME3 they don't water Ash's character down just to cater to the people who can't take someone telling them like it is.

Strong women are scary.
I concur, I barely missed 700 this time 'round, but I'll be there for 800! (If I'm not asleep, that is)ForbiddenQTip wrote...

Strong men don't feel threatened by strong women.

Hey, back from the Tali thread to ask you guys a quick question:
Form their elevator conversations I got the impression that Tali looked up to Ash as some kind of "strong female" role model, anyone else get this impression?

I can't remember what elevator conversation you're talking about. Interesting though! Could you paraphrase?

She refers to her as "Chief Williams" for a start then asks her about women in the military I think. Tali showed Ash a lot of respect, I remember that much.

Yes i remember this and yes Ash tells her it took awile for men to learn that ladies can handle a rifle, Tali tells her ''on the Flotilla they dont have the luxery of sexism'' and Ash jokes ''it must be nice, but i wouldnt like wearing the uniform'' lol. I wish they expanded the Tali and Ash relationship they seemend to be close like Ash and Kaidan.

I like the idea of a Tali/Ash "girl power" friendship

I'd love to see how BioWare handle that after their use of "licking lamp posts in winter" in DAO, lol.
