I wasn't at all, despite how easily Bioware have appeared to cast Ashley aside in the second game, I had no hesitation in remaining loyal, and after seeing Shepherd look at the photo frame before the final mission I was certain I had made the right choice.

I just hope Bioware return her character to a much larger role again for the third game, otherwise it seems unfair to the people who remained loyal all the way through.

Although I am certain they will, Im sure thats why Ashley and Kaiden were giving a smaller role in Mass Effect 2 to ensure that they could return in Mass Effect 3.

I hope anyway...

She was the only ME charachter badass enough to get away from the seeker swarm without Mordins antidote.

If they bring her back in 3 its gotta be cause the alliance screw's her over somehow. I think they'll probably try court marshaling her for something she didn't do and you prolly have to bust her out or something, i unno just speculating. No way she is leaving the alliance without good reason tho

My personal theory is the Council and the Alliance will throw in their lot with the Reapers and Ash/Kaidan will lose their faith in the Alliance for it.

I doubt Ashley/Kaidan will leave the Alliance...I find it more likely that Shepard will find a reason to leave Cerberus.

Although I realize not everyone will have ended the game the same as me, but I think I'm going to find it hard to get any work from Cerberus anymore... Or perhaps Ashley's/Kaidan's fate is resting on what decision you chose in ME2, which when read over, sounds like a total "duh" statement.

My own personal hope is that Shepard will return to the Alliance...of course, after being reviewed and declared alive.

Interesting idea.

I also think that in three your team is going to be everyone from ME 1 and 2.(who has lived) 

Explains why they made Ash and Liara's dialogue so razor thin, they wanted u to get to know the ME 2 charachters.

Good grief this thread has grown. I've been too busy to post, I'm amazed to see how far it's come.



I just started to play ME1 again now one more time, so that when Kasumi is our next week I can totally replay ME2. Anyway, seeing Ash again and actually being able to talk to her and romance her again has me excited. I really missed her, drives home what was missing in ME2.



That being said, I again wonder just how much better Ash would look if she was modelled in CryENGINE, the engine behind Crysis. Crysis has some of the most realistic facial models I've ever seen, that and the whole human body. Unreal Engine 3 is aging badly, and though ME2 looked a lot better than ME1, I still have this feeling that Ash would be that much more realistic if she was in CryENGINE instead.

Nope, I have seperate playthroughs for the LIs  I like. The only Shep who cheated for me was my Kaidan Femshep who romanced Thane.

Yeah, me too. I helps that my LIs could break every bone in my body if they chose.
Seriously though, cheating is one of those things I wouldn't do in-game or RL.

Yeah, I'm doing a ME1 playthrough again right now. It's really amazing that I still play that game to me. The only other games with that sort of longevity for me is Morrowind and Fallout 3.
