Yeah i was disapointed in that too, Bioware did'nt realy put much effort into Garrus in ME2. I felt he was there for fan service just becuase he was one of the most popular ME1 caracters who could'nt die.

That was the reason I was 100%-ing ME1 again, Ash, and I figured I might as well teach Garrus right, but noooooooooooo. That would be to easy.

I think pyro, hepzi, yale92, Zeuss, and I am sure others are xbox players.

I have ME1 on xbox. I play one the computer. Better graphics and a lot more saves.

I save before every conversation with Ashley.

I dissagree.  My dialogue with him does not indicate I went renagade.  At one point during the loyalty mission, he actually says "I'm not like you, shepard" When I try and talk my way out of it.

From the way I played ME1, Garrus is the second most interesting party member in ME2.  He wants revenge, and is starting to obsess over Sidonis, but primarily want s to be a hero like Shepard.  The emotional conflict with him is very well done IMO.

True, there are some indications of both. His whole plotline with him going rogue in Omega somewhat drifts away from the Paragon path in ME1 though. You get the impression that he's starting to believe in C-sec again in ME1, but he's still basically the same old Garrus in ME2. Didn't bother me too much though, the way I see it, if you went paragon it turns out you just didn't rub off on him as much as you thought.

Actually he has one line of dialogue that will change depending on what route you went with him. Its before doing the sidonis thing.

I think I should. Ash is worth it.

ME1 playthrough is better for Ash.
Just wondering, what does Ash say to you if your background is something other than Spacer or Sole Survivor?
