I did it.
I found ME1 insanity way easier, considering EVERYTHING could be leveled up and easily upgraded. Plus beating ME1 insanity gets you a N7 gamer pic.

My insanity playthrough was problem free until I got to the timed run on Ilos. Damn Colossi tore the mako up something serious. I never bothered with it after that.
