In ME1 when you first start talking to the crew, after you pick Liara up, do you think that Ash is being catty when she asks you about "whatshername", do you think at that time she is really just indifferent about it, or is there some real jealousy involved?

IIRC the 'whatsername' talk can lead straight to her talking about your feelings for Liara, so yeah, I'd say she's a little jealous from the start. Never played through ME1 as a femshep, but I'd guess she just doesn't bring Liara up if you do.

I've never persued a relationship with Liara.
But then again it's been a while since I had an ME1 playthough and I've forgotten Ash's dialog.

I've never not romanced Ash. Is there a way to turn her down nicely like there is with Liara, or is the confrontation pretty much inevitable if you talk to her.

I do know that if you ask for a threesome Ash "In, Your, Dreams commander" leaves while Liara stays proving Liara's a Sl*t.

It is a little weird though that she acts like you 'chose' her when really you just acted creepy and scared Ash off.

I do think the Phoenix Armour looks really good on her, not so much on my Shepard though. Currently both Ashley and Shepard on my squad are rocking matching Mercenary Armour which looks awesome.
I have a question for you guys, is it worth playing through Mass Effect as a female Shepard to see how the dialogue changes? Im currently on my third playthrough as a male and wondered if it is any different, apart from not being able to romance Ashley
