The dialogue is pretty much the same, but the way FemShep talks to Ashley suggests something more than tight friendship and is quite hot (but we all know it's just a dream that will never come true). I think both Hale and Brooks did amazing job.

Apparently Ash was once going to be a femshep romance option also, the flirty dialogue is probably a hold over from that.

No, my MaleShep isnt actually. Its the girls. They say the flirty stuff when they come on to him.

Must be that new Bar on the SR2. New Slogan "Hit the New bar on the SR2, it helps you talk to Shepard better."

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a try eventually then, although I really want to play Mass Effect 2 again first.

Haven't actually played it since I finished it the first time when it came out using my original Infiltatror character. Since then I've replayed the first game as a soldier, and want to use my third playthrough to get to level 60, before I play the second game again.

Question is should I remain loyal to Ashley again, or should I succumb to Mirandas Charms... tough choice

You are asking this in the Ashley forums? It's like asking a fat kid if he wants some cake, and you already know the answer is yes.

Anyway I say if the lvl 60 import has all the choice you want stay loyal to Ashley and use it as an import for ME3.

Miri filled the void of snarky commentator left by ash for ME2 but other than that and her really OP'd squad bonuses, I don't like her.

Putting aside all the obvious friction, do you guys think Ashley and Miranda would relate to each other over issues of family? Ash has strong family values and Miranda is intensely loyal to and protective of her sister. If they disagreed on everything else, I think this is one common thread they definitely share.

True, but as good as cake is, you can only have so much before you feel sick!

I will definately stay loyal in that save for importing into Mass Effect 3 and use some other saves just to see what it is like with Miranda and Tali, not Jack though, can't stand her.

I do think they would relate, I actually find Ashley and Miranda to be very similar, like opposite sides of the same coin. Both are powerful woman who know what needs to be done, and are unwilling to compromise or be sidetracked otherwise.

True, but as good as cake is, you can only have so much before you feel sick!

Well, Ash would definitely pull out her "Who put you in charge? Did the Commander resign when I wasn't looking?" line when Miranda starts getting too high on authority. Kinda like the way Jack does, except way better.

i have 5 characters ready for ME3...each for every LI in ME1 and ME2....but i consider the one with Ashley as my main character...

But out of them all i see the one with Liara and Tali the most uninteresting...

I actually don't see Ashley and Miranda getting along...for a few reasons

I see Ash getting along with Zaeed, he has Jessie and Ash has her Boomstick  Also merc's are all ex military, most merc's (in real life) are people who found it hard settling into civilain life when there military career is over so they join a merc company. Plus he is ex Alliance im sure he has plenty of battles to talk to Ash about.

I just had a thought for Mass Effect 3. What if you need to work with either Kaiden/Ashley again aswell as the crew from the second one, If you remained faithful it would be easier with less problems but if you cheated, you would have lots of fights and arguements to deal with.

I'm the same way. The only LI's i don't have a play through for are kaidan, jacob, and thane. Ash and Shep just feel right together and when she finds out that despite the verbal beating she gave you on Horizon, that you still didn't move on, I'm expecting a rather emotionally engaging moment between the two.

Also, miranda doesn't really get along with anyone. Besides maybe jacob.

Like it completely changed the way I viewed her character. I used to absolutely hate her and now I understand her. She still doesn't click with me, but I certainly wouldn't say I hate her character anymore.

   Well Miranda has her problems..not surprised she is so closed up...would be interested to see her interactions with Ashley more then what was on Horizon......i would laugh if in the end they get along just well..
    Dunno if Ashley would really disaprove of Jack..depends
