Individuals she trust I think. Wrex, Garrus, and Tali. But not the groups.
My shep trusts Wrex, but lock him in a room with 4 strange Krogan. He is not so trusting.

Exactly, it's not unreasonable to distrust. It's unreasonable to hate without reason. The average person on the street will screw you over if it benefits them so it seems logical to extend that to entirely new species!

Point is she recognizes it and seems to be at least trying to work on it in ME 1.

Its unreasonable to hate without reason.
This statement goes to the heart of  the matter with trolls. Even if you blew every bad thing they say about Ash out of the water they still hate.  I don't expect people to change there minds and join us. But people being reasonable and respectfull shouldn't be to much to ask. For most it isn't. For some impossible.
