Yes. I did play a save where Kaidan was alive and saw that.

He had it on Horizon but not the opening scene blame lack of resources, trying to save money, I duuno but whatever the reason someone at Bioware should be punished for that fashion faux pas!

LOL, yes - just seems odd to me that they have the pink armour on him in the beginning when it would be simpler and take less disc space to have him in just the standard armour. Mind you, Liara is in that same armour if you had her as a LI in ME1 - it doesn't work as well...

What did these 2 do with their clothes between ME1 and 2? Is Citadel dry cleaning services really that slow?

I settled for Liara in ME 1, but I wanted Ash. Somethign happend which kind of broke it for me, even though in ME2, there was obviously more than professional history, which was awesome. It was kind of this unspoken thing, since we're both profession soldiers. Ashley gets a lot of flak, for no good reason.

The fact people have so many mixed oppinons about her just shows how great a caracter she is, however you view her you are getting some type of emotion from her. Ash is clearly the best written caracter in ME and ME2, it is a shame the hate some people give her due to the fact she is the most realistic caracter in ME she has grey area's she aint evil, she aint perfect, she is human and in my mind that is the most perfect caracter you can find. You gotta love Ash

man its seriously hard to keep up with this thread lol 6 pages or so since i last posted, as ive been busy developing a time machine to go forward and get mass effect 3 so far ive managed to establish that in order for my plan to work i need a police box that can fly round the world so fast it speeds up time and Joules Verne.

I also have a side project on dimension jumping see if i cant find a real ash out there. lol

Ash lovers breaking down the barriers of reality for the Chief!



On a more serious note just trying to think what situation would call for ash to let her hair down? After all she kept it up even when on the way to illos, i hope we get a chance to see it and an adequate situation for it to happen e.g. shep an ash marrying, or sunbathing at the beach next to the remains of harbringer after ash defeated it solo with nothing more than her boomstick!

I really start to wonder now what will happen in ME3, LI wise. The funny thing is, ME2 has been out just shy of a month now, most of us have played it once or twice, and now we will have to wait for who knows how long to see what finally happens between Shep and Ash.



Personally, I am almost 100% sure that Ash and Kaidan will be in ME3, I think it has been stated somewhere in this thread that the devs made it that way, your ME1 LI to play a big part in ME3. Also, Horizon basically saves your character from a possible death in the last mission. Shep looking at Ash before hitting Omega-4 I think in many ways was also a good hint at the future.



What I am curious to see is what eventually happens? Do we make their relationship go deeper, do they reunite then sort of plod on, get married before the Reapers come, just in case? At this point it is all speculation, but I would seriously enjoy getting the marriage option. Mrs. Ashley Shephard rings quite the bell lol...



All things being equal, BioWare has a monstrous task ahead of them with ME3. I think it will be far more epic than Return of the Jedi, by far, and if pulled off right, there are going to be a lot of very happy people one way or another.



On a personal note, when ME3 comes out, I will not read up ahead of time about it and spoil it for myself. Will read interviews and stuff of course, but will avoid the ME Wiki until I played the game once, so I can truly experience it first hand. Hopefully that includes good stuff with Ash as well, however it needs to be achieved.

I dunno - she doesn't seem the marriage type - she seems the 'lets have a deep relationship without the marriage' type if I had to guess. And I don't think she'd take Sheps name.



But yeah, I know what you mean - another 2 years min before we get answers to both the romance and the reapers.

Yeah i realy cant wait! Dunno how Bioware are gonna do it in just 2 years, but i have faith. I too would love for a marriage option and hopefully we will have Ash on ower squad shooting bad guy's with her boomstick  Yeah i think when ME3 is just round the corner i am gonna avoid the forums after what happend last time. I will probably watch some gameplay but do what i did for ME2 when a cinematic or conversation comes up i will turn it off.

P.S Keep spreading the Ash love

Really, I see her as a traditionalist settling down with a big family at some point w/ or w/o Shepard. And what woman wouldn't take Shepards name.
