I dunno - she doesn't seem the marriage type - she seems the 'lets have a deep relationship without the marriage' type if I had to guess. And I don't think she'd take Sheps name.

But yeah, I know what you mean - another 2 years min before we get answers to both the romance and the reapers.

Really, I see her as a traditionalist settling down with a big family at some point w/ or w/o Shepard. And what woman wouldn't take Shepards name.

Maybe...maybe... at some point. And who wouldn't? Someone who'd fought to make sure that her maiden name wasn't considered 'shameful' because of the idiot top brass ;)

I can see her letting her sisters carry on the name and finally settling with her lover.  But who knows, maybe Chris wouldn't mind being known as Chris Williams instead of Shepard Posted Image.

That make sense. I just see her as a traditionalist that wouldn't hesitate to take her husbands name.

True, but she's also a very independent lady. With an assault rifle...:innocent:

Actually, that might be better for him. While an offspring of Shepard and Williams can't possibly be anything less than superhuman, still - bearing the name of Shepard ("THAT Shepard?! Oh man, when I tell my dad I go to school with Commander Shepard's son...") means a lot of responsibility; very much is expected of you - and it's a pain when you don't meet those expectations. The kid might actually have an easier life with a less famous name.

As for Ash herself - she's a haven of traditionalism and conservatism in this universe; I'd definitely expect her to marry Shepard (even if HE has any objections, they will be swiftly brushed aside with staggering force : P). She would probably want to keep her family name, but I don't see a problem there - that's what double last names are for. Ashley Williams-Shepard... Doesn't sound that epic. But when you think about the history behind those names... That's epic enough.

Hi everyone! Quick question about Ash's Horizon scene (painful though it undoubtedly is to recall), if you romanced her in ME1, what does she say to you about her feelings for you, before the chewing-out-of-Shep begins? I read about the "god" line, but that's not romance specific of course.

She says the same thing Kaiden does almost word for word unfortunately.

Williams family not being famous after ME1 makes me rage. Ash did most, if not all of the fighting at the Citadel while I hung back and kind of went with the flow.

She gives you a big hug, you get a email, and you have her pic on your desk and get a nice little scene with Shepard looking at the picture before the suicide mission begins.

Indeed - there is no real translation between the two, but Leilana is the 'good' LI.

Morrigan's is sweet, but it takes more work to get her to admit love and then.......

given that she comes from a pretty big, tightly knit family, I imagine that she would want to settle down eventually, just not until shes gotten as much out of her career as she can. Namely, clearing her grandfathers name once and for all.

itll be interesting to see where bioware lets the romances go and how they choose to close them out. i cant see jack ever getting married, for example, but Ash seems like a candidate. I dont even know if inter species marriage is even allowed, which makes things interesting for liara/garrus/tali/thane. but i guess we'll see

then again, i guess the asari kind of have that pair bond system, so liara fans might be in luck

Marriage would be excellent, I think Ash and Kaidan would both be candidates for that what with the interchangableness (new word?) Posted Image

I still think Miranda and Jacob will run off with each other, maybe Liara would do marriage, Thane should be dead don't know about Tali and Garrus and def don't see Jack as marriage material.
