BioWare is kind of running out of guaranteed alive returning bodies. My only concern is if she'll return as a squad mate.

I like it, but the scroll speed on the text could be reduced by 25-50% to allow the reading to be much better.

Thanks for the advice, I'll go fix it. I need to alter it anyway into two seperate images, forgot these forums hate images bigger than 30px

So to start up a convo, I thought I would bring up her dialogue additions in ME1 when you talk to Terra Firma.
For all of those folks that claim she is a "racist", I have to refer them to that conversation and her response to their position about their goals maybe be noble, and not such a bad idea but their party or organization is full of RACISTS. Sorry I don't have the exact quote.
After a second Ash play through in ME1, I am convinced she is just looking out for humans and their interests, not that she hates all aliens. Actually, you could take Kelly's little analogy from ME2 regarding humans, aliens and Cerberus, and apply it to Ash.
What do you all think?

I had a rant about this last night after experiencing this scene for the first time. I can't understand how anyone can possibly call Ashley racist after her replies to the Terra Firma Party.
Here is the quote you are talking about, grabbed this image last night:

"It's a noble goal, too bad so many of your supporters are just racists"

I feel that if Cerberus did not go and do such extreme messure for Humanity. Williams might have joined with you on Horizon. She does have a hard head to get over sometimes, do belive after ME1 that she might be more supportive of alien assistance (if it requires it.) She just has her own way of doing things, and Shepard/I will just have to respect that.Raanz wrote...

Yeah, I just don't buy into that she is a racist. The duality of her character is very interesting and maybe it's just not straight forward enough for folks to like.
She is appalled by the Alliance and their treatment of her grandfather, and yet joined up and suffers through "crap assignments" to fight for humanity.
She is such a stickler for military protocol and regulations, and yet if you romance her, she is willing to throw it all away for Shepard and the goal just so Shepard will "be happy".
Her beliefs seem to be aligned with those of Cerberus, but refuses to join Shepard in ME2 because of all of the horrible things Cerberus has done not only to the Normandy crew, but aliens and humans alike...staying loyal once again to the Alliance whom she thinks only wants to keep her down because of family history.
Ashley is a good character.

Razer, thanks for the quote.

I always feel that Ashley is a very complicated character and most people who can't understand her views often are quick to jump on the hate bandwagon.
She is appalled by the Alliance and their treatment of her grandfather, and yet joined up and suffers through "crap assignments" to fight for humanity.
She is trying to do the right thing for the sake of humanity despite being blacklisted and mistreated by the Alliance. She is willing to put her own needs behind that of her Alliance, a true patriot.
She isn't some simply some racist, she understands whats right and wrong and her beliefs are simply that of a realist.
Ashley is a good character.
No, she is a great character
Edit: The form of this makes it look as if I'm arguing against you, I'm actually very much agreeing!

Oh she'll definitely be back. At the very least a cameo. I'm willing to bet the virmire survivor and liara will play a bigger role in the story than any of the ME2 squad mates.
