The way I perceived it was that she simply almost gave up. Her faith in God, her ability to fight for the alliance...basically her ability to live. Not saying she contemplated suicide, but she definitely had some time where she was lost in life. I fully understand that, which makes it all the more frustrating and confusing when she basically gives you the "screw off Shepard" when you tell her to join you, even after you tell her you don't like Cerberus. The way I came out of Horizon was "So she just admitted she loved me, and didn't feel complete without me, I come back into her life, and she doesn't want to be near me. Perfect."
Poor lass was confused, she's spent 2yrs getting over you and then you randomly show up! Would have thrown you too especially since bringing people back to life is hardly common place what the hell is she supposed to think?
Agreed - I mean, sure it's annoying when it happens on Horizon, but thats sort of the point - it would be ALITTLE inconvinant to have a break in a relationship due to 2 years of being clinically dead, heh.

Well, she thought you were dead, she was grieving. Then she hears rumor you might be alive and working with the group you both fought against. She now wondering if you might have been alive all this time. That maybe you turned your back on her. Then She finds out you did die, the group you both hate ( cerberus ) brought you back to life, and asked you to save humanity again. No wonder she is upset, confused , and needs time.

Hey there fellow Ash fans! Just dropping by to show my support for Ms. Williams
It's nice to see people have my "Ashley Williams squadmate for ME3" banner. Well I did not make it but it was made for me (Thanks TeenZombie!) and I spread it around to other Ash fans and now I see it everywhere!
It's pretty cool.
Anyway Bioware better bring her back!
I still have to see her in a tin foil mini skirt and thigh-high boots.

I don't like the horizon scene either. Very frustrating. I don't like Sheps responses. Even if Shep had the greatest explanation, fell on his knees and begged Ash to come with him. ( he wouldn't ) She would have to go think. It just seems to fit her. The email give me hope. Shep looking at Ash's photo give me hope.ChampDude wrote...

That's all fine, but don't you think she would actually give you a chance to explain yourself? Instead she states how she feels, then Shepard gives one or two vague comments about how it wasn't his choice, and then she says she can't join you. I don't know, it was just a really disappointing scene that felt very confined within the obvious conclusion that she wasn't going to join you no matter what. Let's just say, I was very grateful for that e-mail she sent afterwards or I may have gained a very negative attitude towards Ashley (which just proves how terrible that scene was handled as I thought it would be impossible for me to not like Ashley)

If I am mad at all it is with bioware not using her more thoughout the game. Whould have be nice to visit with her on the citadel, or even a stupid reply button on the email. Even that would have been something.

Shepard should consider himself lucky Ash just didn't shoot him then and there... considering all the zombie-type monsters the two of them had to kill in the first game.
Shepard: It's been too long Ash, how have you been?
Ashley: **** A HUSK KILL IT.
(Ashley shoots Shepard dead, leaving The Illusive Man to consider reviving someone to suit his purposes who didn't have an emotional, trigger-happy ex-girlfriend)

Or how about the empty void after the suicide mission. Would it have been too much for an e-mail to her saying "Yeah, by the way, I made it out alive. Just thought you should know"

OK new topic!
if ME were made into a movie (which I personally am on the fence about), who should play the role of our beloved gunnery chief?
my vote is for the tough, sexy Ms. Michelle Rodriguez

a lot of people mention mila kunis, but I disagree. Ms. Kunis simply doesnt have the kind of physical presence required to play a marine like Ashley. She just doesnt strike me as a "tough" actor.... and when I see Ashley, I dont want to be thinking about her whining to kelso.
Michelle Rodriguez on the other hand has got the role of female badass down to a T. She'd kick ass should ME go to the big screen.
thoughts?

Haha yeah, you guys seem a little less... in the gutter? than the Kaidan crowd. So what's the current topic of conversation? Weddings?
