Huh, just found out today's Ashley's birthday. Odd that hers and Shepard's are so close together (four years and three days apart). I wonder, does she measure it by Earth's revolution or by Amaterasu's?

The music is better, walk around the Citadel or Noveria and you will know what im talking about here, in ME2 we dont get no background music when just walking around. The exploration, the galaxy in ME2 feels alot smaller as we cant go to uncharted worlds, and the side quests are very small missions. And there's Ash, Kaidan, Liara and Wrex, and Garrus had more than two sentences of dialogue! And we could be friends with Tali without wanting Quarian love. Still both games are awsome.

Yeah, I wasn't really knocking ME2, because that game is just sheer fun. I wouldn't call it nostalgia either because I didn't even own ME1 until like 10 months ago. (laugh it up)

I can't laugh, I only got into the series about November last year. Always been a playstation and PC gamer, but had never heard of Mass Effect.
I ended up getting a £10 voucher for the EA Store, seen Mass Effect had good reviews and decided to buy it, I ended up getting it for free thanks to transaction problems and very helpful EA Support staff (Yes you heard that right...)
I absolutely loved it and it ended up becoming one of my favourite games, I think I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game from the EA Store as soon as I finished.
I would have to agree with you about both games having a different feeling to them, although not necessarily in a bad way, just as you both say they are different games. Although both are still amazing.

Both games are good. But I know at least for me. Between now and when ME3 is released I will have played ME1 more than ME2. I like ME1 better and it has Ash.
