He just questions what the geth did wrong and what caused the conflict between them and the heretics. I dont think he felt sad or upset.

I just don't see how people can have so much sympathy for a race that tried to obliterate another and then got what was coming to them.

Then we should make another sentient synthetic species so they can live together with the geth, and learn about love.

That would just make more potentila enemies. It's already tragic we may have to kil all Geth to save ourselves.

Yes the Geth even feel regret the Morning war they keep the Quarian homeworld clean and watch over it but they dont live on it (an obvious sign of the possiblity of peace between the two)
