To be fair, ME2 is very smooth so the comparison may make ME1 look bad.

I still play Morrowind and Diablo 2 on occasion. I guess I'm not bothered by clunky for some reason. *shrugs*

I play Diablo 2 a lot still, but that's because my friend drags me into it. I'm just playing to find uniques, just killing time till D3.
