Though it should be casual attire I really don't want to put on a good stat piece of armor just for it to make me cringe by being overly tight and or skimpy compared to normal armor.

"Because I said so, dammit!"

Although, if your powergamer bone clashes with your fashion sense, pick the one that offends you the least, really.

Most guys wouldn't be caught dead wearing neon-bright pink armor, yet for most it became a battle between fashion and function in both ME and WoW. I recall the Rainbow Armor in NWN was particularly offensive in this aspect, but it might be a bit of a imitation.

Regardless, it's going to be down to modifications or development introductions. As far as I can see it, it's completely out of your hands either way. People will either mod the game, though that excludes the console portion of gamers, or the developers will see either see fit to take her suggestion or not.

It's not something you can make demands about.

Wait that neon pink armor couldn't be changed in color? I thought guys were only wearing that for the kicks.

I'm not making demands about anything. I'm perfectly fine with armor the way it is. B)

If they change the armor and I no longer find it comfortable I'll just start using a M!Shep. So it wouldn't be a deal breaker anyways. I'll be dissappointed but I'll move on with life. I'm not going to **** all day about the armor if they do make it more sexy at any rate.

Edit: There's skimpy M!Shep armor? Where? The closest thing I saw was that ridculous biker looking casual outfit. And the outfit alone killed Shep's sex appeal for me. :(

From ME1. Well, actually I wouldn't say bigger, but they are now pushed up. See Ashley Williams in ME2 and compare her armour to yours.

I think that was more because of Armour size. (heavy/medium/light)

Do you think so? The light armours in ME1 didn't have the lift like the ones in ME2 do.

Shepherd is not just a soldier grunt in the military. She is a Specter who can dress anyway she likes. It seems that a lot of the amrour in these games is not based on having comfy stuff to wear that have shields.

Shepherd also only spends part of her time actually in combat situations, she also travels around on space stations and on planets and knows the value of dressing in a certain way.

I can think of no viable reason why the female shepherd would not wear whatever the heck she wants.

This is true.

You think we could get some sexier outfits for M!Shep in that case though? And some longer hairstyles. He's a Spectre damnit he should be allowed shoulder length hair!

FemShep could use some longer hair too now that I think about it. :pinched: I hate short hair.

I'd really like some. M!Shep could really use some sexier outfits too. :bandit:

Hm...maybe a shirtless casual outfit with loose shorts for M!Shep and a tight and cute minskirt and tank top for F!Shep.

At least then it'll make those clothed sex scenes bareable. ^_^

Have a look at the difference between colossus light and medium/heavy (particularly the behind). Had to give her different armour because it was just too damn distracting.

I think the menshep/males in general already are sexifyed. The Firefly outfit shows off Shep's biceps and schexy abs. I personally think most of the armours look very gratifying on Malesheps.

Then we have guys like Thane with their... nice... male tight outfits... yeah.

See, I didn't think so.  I thought the female version of that outfit showed off the abs, lowerback, butt, and boobs quite a bit.  So they are on equal terms in my mind.

I was more trying to speak in the context of what you're posting about here, though.  Wanting something like, say, Miranda's boobsuit for FemShep?  Or like the picture you posted in the opener.  The male equivalent to those armors/casual wear would need men to run in g-strings or with their leather pants so tight you see virtually every bulge and with their upper consisting of a vest with nothing underneath.

I am okay with sexy outfits and I am okay with objectification, I just don't want females to be the only ones getting the treatment.

Of course, I still had trouble wrapping my brain around the new 'outfit' mechanic we have for ME2.  Boobsuits and less for women, while everyone except Thane has bulky armor/armor pieces that look almost practical in a future firefight?  Uh-huh... suuure.  And that's the tilting hand showing itself already, which is what concerns me.

Wouldn't this all be solved if you could choose light and medium versions of the N7 or other armors? I really don't like being forced to wear heavy armor, especially if I'm trying to create an Infiltrator Assassin or Adept class. Put Thane in a heavy armored suit, don't think it would fit him very well.

"Commander Shepard".. She's commander, not tomb raider.. Shoo! She has perfect armor already, it fits her.. So no need to make her save the universum in bikini.

Can't believe that a female poster is actually saying something like this.. ;o

Bah. I just knew someone would say that. So, you think being sexy means barbie doll? You think Samara, Miranda, Morinth and Tali look like Barbie dolls? Really? Gee.

...They do....

I wish for the stripper suit as casual wear... actually I wish for more than four pieces of casual wear, I don't care what they look like.

No Byakuya hair clips? :o
I actually want a short hair style for my femshep that's.... 'dude short', I'll use to explain the shortness, and one that's not 'cute'. Preferably with bangs - I saw a few characters in game that had one I wouldn't mind, but cut short in back.
I prefer a scruffy kinda looking style too, but I'm all for people getting long hair too since alot of people want different things, make everyone happy. :D

So, I can imagine that not all females will agree with me, but I personally like my PC to look hawt. Like cleavage/azz/curvaceous kinda hawt. Not 'cause I am a guy who enjoys playing female PCs just so I can stare at their lovely behind, but because well, it can be empowering and all that jazz.

I get the whole army commander thingo, but... do you think you could... iunno... maybe... make a few armours a little more... yeah? She isn't really military anymore, and why the heck not? I loved the face masks Samara and Jack wear. They look so pretty. What if my femshep likes to look schexy? I could try and retexture Miranda's or Samara's suit and put it as a full armour overwrite. Hrm. Alas, I don't have the skills. I do wish my Shep could have a bit more of an edge sometimes. I always make my armour dark red :D

So, anyone else agree? Would you like to see some sexy femshep casual or non-casual armour? Is this a stupid question? Will Lucy finally explode into little jelly pieces that taste like apple and blueberries??

:3

I think that you should show us what kind of stuff you had in mind via extensive cosplay photos.  Just my vote of support!

I respect the OP's right to voice an opinion, but I disagree completely. I think Shep's armour looks great as it is. Very form-fitting! And I think her posture had improved and she looks a little more buxom too. Not too much, but just enough.

I think one of the sexier aspects about female shep is how brutal, mean, and non objectified she can be. (if you play her right) She's a strong woman and that aspect makes her a more attractive character in my eyes. I almost don't like the "orange casual clothes" because i feel it shows a little too much skin. I hope we get way more casual outfits in the dlc. (although personally i don't think i'd go for the stripper outfit....)
