Prediction: We see Tali's face. At first, there is an outpouring of Fan excitement and congratulations that we finally now.

Then the ugly sets in. Someone calls her ugly, or says they just don't like the way she really looks.

Tali's face is never revealed for a reason. Use some imagination kids. That's why the mask is there if the first place. We're not supposed to know. She's that LI where we can just imagine her to look however we please, and not have to worry about being wrong. 

It's like Master Chief and his helmet. Once we know what's underneath, some of the magic is lost. Sometimes you have a good thing. Keep it.

Well the reason we havn't seen what he looks like is because if they take there maskes off they will get very sick and maybe even die. Also because they want to build up excitement for next installment of Mass Effect. Which is what i kinda said before. She will be beautiful cos if she wasn't when you sex her (which is a very gay sex scene you dun see anything) his reaction is a bigger smile.

Respectfully I have to disagree with the idea that her appearance remain hidden. When you romance her, she tells you that she needs/wants you to see her without the helmet. She takes the extra mile to ensure that you can see her, feel her, during the romance scene. When the character talks like that, it simply doesn't seem right not to allow it. That is part of the experience isn't it? They shouldn't be afraid to show her and face some disappointment. Not everyone is going to like the way someone looks, you could have someone even criticise Miss America. So do you decide to hide her as if you were saying she is ugly and shouldn't be seen? From a character perspective, from a gamer perspective, I think they should show her face, allow her that moment. She doesn't need to be miss Universe.

I'm sorry Bioware but you are idiots.

You ruined the perfect oportunity to reveal Tali's face (the romance scene).
I assume its because you think "people would be happier not to know what her face looks like because now they can imagine however they want" or some crap like that.

No.

Sure some would of been dissapointed with how she looked and they'd probably bitch and moan about that but at least we'd have established a canon appearance for the quarians.

Unfortunately however since you ruined the perfect opportunity to reveal a quarian face silly debates on whether she looks like an alien (like how an alien should look) or whether she simply has a completely human appearance will continue to plague the forums.

Right, my suspicon about how she looks is that she is quite humanlike, for the simple reason she apparently finds Shepard attractive. From a human standpoint, the only aliens being attractive are the asari, and they are just blue female humans. I fail to see how anyone could find say a batarian or turian attractive, simply because they differ so much from humans physically.



Now, of course Tali will be attractive, with very humanlike features - she is after all a LI and very popular one at that, so we can't have an average Jane to be that, can we?



I personally think Bioware will buckle under the preassure and let us see her face. Pity I say, but I'm in a minority on most issues about Mass Effect...

You do realise that Garrus and Thane are both love interests and have quite a large number of fans.

I should have mentioned "normal people" in that post, I just knew it - because you do realize that there are people getting on on dogs as well?

I was talking about physical attraction like the one you might experience on a beach - when a female with a nice rack walks by, I for one won't think 'damn she looks like she could explain the relativity theory to me'. What I mean is that both Thane and Garrus have personalities which people are getting attracted to (which is in itself hopeful for an ugly f uck as me). But see a random turian on the beach and you would most likely gag...

At this point there are way too many people with different conceptions of beauty who like Tali. I'm sure Bioware knows that the occasional forum discussion about quarians is nothing compared to the inevitable outpouring of QQ if they ever do reveal her and she doesn't magically meet every single person's definition of perfection.
