I have no problem with ME2's romance scenes; hey, you know, we should just call it 'romance' scene instead of 'sex' scene, so people actually... never mind 13y old boys actually think romance is all about sex, my bad... So, am I on the band wagon of telling someone to "get laid" now? I am soo cool now, I told someone online to "get laid", lulz... hmm.. HIGH FIVE!... Hm.. DOOOD!
Sarcasm aside, I do have no problem with ME2's romance scenes, they are actually the best of the 3 Bioware's games that featured romance: ME1 was cheesy, DA made baby jesus cry(Morrigan and her extra clothing during sex? Since when do we put on a fullplate for sex and wear bikini for battle?), ME2 was good. But, as we all know, there is no way to please everyone, some people actually liked DA's romance scenes!
What I don't get is why is a QA trash talking to the consumers? Game design, surprisingly, is a design industry, so one of the many things that seperate an artist from say... a designer, is that well, designers have to alter their product to the consumer's need, within reason, while an artist is more about, let's say, self-expression, and they can, lemme borrow the word, dictate what they want to do without giving two damns about what the audience wants. In another word, to say that the consumers have no say in how the game is designed mean he either doesn't know how it worked, or he just think he is better because he works in the QA story team(which far as I know, does not equal to a...hmm.. story writer.), but the view on his horse must be pretty nice.
And afterall, it isn't rocket science, you don't even need some fancy phd to see that they did make changes to the game(compared with the 1st), based on customer's response, and the controversal 'sex' scene being one of them.
But lastly, I must say I like the ME2's romance scenes, because they have more taste in them... So, eh... go get laid, you basement dwellers; stay on your high horses, the telling-people-to-get-laid crowds; and last but not least, stay lurking you damn creepy lurkers, like myself.
