Good god I am so sick of this forum being filled with peiople who claim to know anything about ME1 and know nothing, and people who play the game with easy mode retard classes and think they can extrapolate their game experiences.
Adept singularity will short out on harbringer very quickly usually, you'd have to spam it over and over, at the same time each time you poke your had out, you will lose half your life. Not workable unless you cleared most of the trash around him already.

If the game is handing you your ass on a silver platter, CHANGE TACTICS. Just because YOU'RE not suddenly the PWNZORQUEEN doesn't mean Bioware should dumb-down the game. I EXPECT a challenge in insanity, and we have it, that's why it's called INSANITY, not CAKEWALK.
I know it's hard to grasp this, but some fight in this game are meant for you to figure out the best strategy for victory. Not all battles are just waltz in and pewpewpew done. Weapon selection, loadout, position, cover, biotic/tech usage, etc are critical to a successful battle. I find I can turn the tides of many battle by uses the team placement feature so I can spread my team out across the field and flank the enemy - that really really helps.
PS: Bioware, please don't change the insanity difficulty or nerf the big-baddies - the name of the difficulty is well named and SHOULD be challenging.

A tactic that I heard works great against the Harbinger is not being a giant douche bag.

Oh, awesome, I got ingahootz, the lamer infiltrator I win button spammer. What a treat. Go back to your troll thread.
Funny how everyone in this thread is telling you that you're wrong yet I'm the lamer. Didn't you hear? I'm playing an Adept now! And it's still easy as hell.
Since you like to insult people... I think you have a serious case of the L2P. This thread explains why you've said the things you did in my thread. You're just bad and have 0 reaction time. You can't distinguish the difference between 1 slow moving projectile and smaller fast moving ones. You die because of it and blame the game, not your skill level. You also died to geth snipers in ME1, never happened to me. OH NOES RED LASER LET'S STAND IN LOS AND NOT MOVE!
Bottom line is, you're terrible.
Look, I can throw out insults too!

And you are about geth snipers there are two sets where you cannot avoid them in anyway. You have to hope they don't instagib you. Once on feros and once on vmire. You obviously have a poor memory, but more likely never actually beat on anything that didn't have immunity so you could survive them.

Heh. Ya, I'm terrible. I beat the game in 7 hours on normal. Never had single reload, either. Never rused a single medigel. The reality is most of thoese people don't play on insanity. And they think cause you can soemtimes avoid those knockbacks that you can always avoid them. But you can't. All you have to do is test it. Knowing they haev no tested it and confirmed that, confirms to me that you and they are more then likely the lamers who can't be bothered to read that this is an insanity only issue.

Oh look more insults! Sorry man you're bad. I have "tested" it and I avoid it. Funny how that works huh? Maybe I can turn this into a 180 and come back at you by saying "You haven't actually tested it". Oh noes!
My memory is pretty good. I didn't die to snipers. I must have god mode turned on every time I touch the keyboard because Bioware's game knows it's me and I'm not allowed to die.
Get over yourself. Lots of people have told you what to do. A few are credible people that I saw in the dragon age forums that managed to solo the game without a party on Nightmare mode.
Sorry to break it to you, but you're not as good at games as you like to think you are. Just because YOU die to something doesn't mean everyone else does. I'm pretty sure most people claiming to have beat the game on Insanity have as well.
If I felt the game was too hard... I'd be saying it's too hard. Sadly, it's not. Sorry you are having difficulties, maybe you should turn it down to Casual.

Too many people here don't play on insanity and when they do they play a retarded overpowered class like the aforementioned.

This thread is only for people who have played through insanity with non sentinels, non soldiers, non-infiltrators. Seriously, its a completely different game you are playing.

Didn't I say I'm playing an Adept? Cleared Horizon. If YOU have played through Insanity you would know the game actually doesn't get any harder afterwards. I'm sure I'll clear it with no problems.
It seems like you want this thread to be about whiners/bads that can't dodge slow moving objects. Yet no one in this thread has really sided with you. So I guess everyone here must not know what they're talking about, not played on insanity, and played an over powered class huh?
I'm sorry but throwing around insults doesn't make you look more credible. It makes you look stupid. I feel sorry for you if you can't take down the Harbinger. Every time he took over one of the collectors I viewed him as a free dead collector, because he doesn't take cover. At least the other collectors take a bit of time to kill because they hide once in a while.
Good luck with your play through though. I'm sure with your god given talent at video games you'll clear through it in no time!

Horizons is hardest for some classes, but not others. More evidence you haven't played much at all on insanity. Save more your ez-mode infiltrator exploits.
So Horizon is EASY for an Adept? Easier than other areas. Ok I totally believe you pro gamer! LOLOLOLOLOL
Don't worry man I got all day to flame you back. I'm having a lot of fun doing this too. Dual monitors ftw
If you're actually being serious in this thread... I really feel badly for you. Well... only for a second... maybe.

If you just move to either side behind cover, it will completly miss you.
This is how i did it...still took alot of luck, because on occasion it would still hit me. Remember those platforms at that (SPOILER) collector ship? (SPOILER).....that was hell for me. Only reason I beat it is I used the nuke gun...
