I've looked back the past few pages and can't find the problem there. I just reinstalled ME1 and everytime I try to play I get a "Mass Effect Configuration Utitlity error" and the game won't launch and the launcher closes. I'm running 64-bit Xp.

My Graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 275 and a core i7 processor. Does anyone else have this problem? Also any help or advice would greatly be appreciated. Thankyou

I'm getting this exact error as well... the first load, and the configuration utility wants to do the auto-preconfigure. Crashes immediately on program opening.
