This will be released worldwide, but europe get the DLC version ( -_-" damn.....). And in US they get both retail and dlc(I think) versions.

I have to disagree with that. There is no information on that topic, most online retailers (amazon.uk, hmv.com and others) all have the awakening there for pre-order, strangely only the pc and 360 versions are for pre-order but no ps3. I begin to wonder what the heck bioware is doing to ps3 users, first is the RtO that is way delayed, now there's no where to pre-order the awakening. What bothers me the most is that they don't talk back to the users in the forum regarding these topics, what kind of PR do they have?! Is it really that hard to talk back to the users?!

Well If I get no retail i'll be imensly pissed off. There is no logical explanation for only having DLC in Europe.. If anyone says that's SONY's decion they are full of crap.. All publishing is done by the publisher (EA). But I don't belive this, they wouldn't screw their customers so royally in the you-know-what.

I can see that SONY came with a money deal, so they can have download on their PSstore, but no Publisher with a little respect for their customers would ever agree to this. If so im done.

EDIT: Aha, I knew the rumor where lies.

Not rumours it was discussed on a previous thread

http://social.biowar...818174/3#931848

For the European (as well as all PAL versions) release of Awakening on PS3, we will be releasing it only as download content, due to requirements from Sony. So you will be able to purchase, download and play, but it will not be available at retail.Victor Wachter, Bioware

Dragon Age Community Facilitator

and this is where the "rumour" came from. Cept its not a rumour.

Then why is the retail version aviable for pre-order in european shops? If I buy the retail version I can still play it, can I not?

I wish Bioware would give an explonation as to why they went with DLC, as that Victor fella' clearly say they choosed DLC over retail. It's not like we have unlimited HD space.. And with all the other games coming out, Icluding those I have and future DLC, this will be a huge problem for PS owners.

And why is it other games can run both retail and DLC, but not DA? I think there is more to it than what's beeing told. I wouldn't be so "dissapointed", had there been more open dialouge about this, but it's almost like it's beeing brushed under the carpet. If i hadn't joined this forum i wouldn't even have heard about it.
