So, EDI takes over the ship during the Collector boarding of the Normandy.  She goes ahead and kills all the remaining Collectors inside the ship by opening the ventilation or air ducks.  There shouldn't have been any oxygen, gravity, or life sustaining temperatures.  I come back and wallah!  The damn Hamster is alive!

So, is it a Super Hamster?  Will there be any use to Super Hammy in ME3?  I mean, come on.  A rodent this powerful has to have a purpose. ;-)

You're kidding? God, did nobody play Baldur's Gate. That's Boo; he can't die, he's all powerful, so don't ****** him off or he'll eat out your eyes while you sleep.

My assumption was that the Hamster was Super-Boo?

He's obviously a miniature giant space hamster. The thought of him even succumbing to the vacuum of space makes me lol. His giant brethren will cause the Reapers to rue the day that they left that one space hamster alive.

He's a miniature giant space hamster, so it's fine.

I'm sure Boo also killed any collector stupid enough to try and enter your quarters. Leave no optic behind.

Boo is an all-powerful Space Hamster. He knows all, sees all, and thinks you are just ducky.

Do not touch the hamster - if you intend to harm it, IT will slaughter you. Starting from the eyes.

He's not a hamster. He's a radioactive horse.

Shepard's hamster is just a plain space hamster.  Minsc's Boo is a miniature giant space hamster.  Shepard's hamster is neither miniature nor giant.  Conspiracy theorists abound who insist that miniature and giant negate each other and thus Shepard's space hamster is the same as a miniature giant space hamster, but they're all fruitcakes.

Shepard's space hamster runs the wheel that will prove deus ex machina to Mass Effect 3's resolution. :bandit:

I heard somebody mention there was a reference to Baulder's Gate but since i never played i had no idea what it was. Thanks for explaining it!

Everytime i went up to the cabin to feed my fish i couldn't resist pokin the little guy. Now i see that may not be the wisest thing to do.

No, it's not.  He must've liked you though.  I've heard stories of people who tried that and never made it out of their cabin.  Super Boo is no joke!

The first time you acquired the space hamster and left the Captain's Cabin, EDI should have said:

"Are you sure you want to go? The hamster will miss you."

That would have made my day. Though it'd have been made even more if Shepard had dialog in which the hamster was actually named "Boo".

Still, the fact he makes the very same squeaking noise as in the BG series is just priceless.
