Hello forum users.
I am unable to finish a mission using the F key. I have tried to remap the key or even copy my save game to a friends pc and still it will not allow me to leave the mission after it is completed.
f.e. it happens at the end of Mordins loyalty mission, if you choose to look arround abit more.
Also on the Strontium Mule (the worst one since it doesn't have a shuttle to use to get me off it)
Even on the Normandy crash site DLC. I was unable to plant the monument using F. However, I was able to plant it on my friends pc. We did however have to use the shuttle to get of world. F still didn't work.
I have uninstalled the game twice allrdy, remapped keys, used secondary keys, macro keys all to fail.
Any tips or is anyone else experiancing this?
F (leave world key) does nothing.

Do you have Melee attack mapped to the same key?
For some reason they need to be assigned to the same key.

What JarkeldOA said. I remapped Melee Attack to my fourth Mouse Button, so whenever the game pops up with "Press and Hold F to get off this rock" I actually have to press Mouse 4 instead of F.

Yeah, the game doesn't change the tooltips when you rebind keys.

I've got default controls, and I'm also stuck at the end of Mordin's mission :-(
I can't holster my weapons, either, so I'm just constantly melee attacking. I don't get it.

When I reloaded from my last autosave and stayed afterwards, I made sure I didn't pull out my weapon. I was able to leave the mission just fine. It looks like there's a problem there only if you pull out your weapon.

Dear BioWare:
Welcome to the year 2010. If I remap my keys, the game tooltips shouldn't be telling me to press the default keys to perform an action. It should be reading from my keymap file.

There is a bunch of keyboard issues, due to bad conversion from the Xbox/Console system.
This is especially annoying since tooltips aren't affected by remapping. If you change your melee attack, it also changes your "leave world", but it doesn't actually say so on the UI/tooltips/loading screens.
A similar annoyance is how run, use, and cover are inseperable, for some really, really retarded reason. This is understandable on a sub-par console control scheme, but not on a keyboard. You tried to run away from the enemy to get better cover? Congratulations, you just ran and took cover right in front of them all and got killed.

Or how you can't double-click on anything in most(all?) of the menus, or how they removed the J key to jump straight to your journal instead of having to hit escape and then journal.

Oh, yeah. That has been annoying the hell out of me. I rarely or never check my journal now, simply because I keep forgetting to do so. I constantly find myself pressing "J" to get into the journal and then suddently realizing that, oh, right, the game was made for a pad.Mighty_BOB_cnc wrote...

Am I only able to leave a planet when it tells me I can? I am just starting the game and I think I may have this bug.

Yes I did confirm... if you change your melee to another key or a mouse button other than F and do not have F for melee.... then what ever your melee attack is... will place the monunment.
The tooltip does not update if you change your melee attack key. To place the monumnet is the same button as to make a melee attack (as of version 1.2).
