I did by accident, I was too slow or something, but she doesn't actually cry very long, she toughens up and decideds her Father didn't love her.

These guys in Bioware have read Aristotle for sure, at least regarding the part of mimesis and catharsis because I have been in a couple personal situations like the one showed for Tali and that was exactly the reaction I needed for someone else standing by me...

So yeah, I couldn´t stand watching Tali craying and do nothing; so I had to consciously force myself not to hug her just out of pure curiosity and I event felt bad not doing so.

There isn't a renegade option for this moment. In fact, I don't think there are any instances with both at the same specific moment; it's either one or the other. Letting her cry is renegade enough, though; you're one cold SOB if you can ignore it.

I let her cry only once, That was during my uber **** Renegade playthrough, and pretty much only to see what would happen. Still felt horrible about it. Every other time I just could not leave her to cry like that.



Like others have said, she's like my little sister ( and at least in one playthrough she's also the main LI ) so there was just no way I could ignore her in her time of need.

Given how fast it happens, I'm not surprised if many didn't even notice.

I've never had any problems with any of the interupts. I don't understand why people complain they appear too quickly. They're up for at least 3 seconds.
