Shepard, Jane. Infiltrator. I consider this my personal "canon" femShep (maleShep would be the default face, wich I like a lot too)

After this Shepard, I can't create any other with the same hairbun xD.
Shepard, Juliet. Vanguard. The first Shepard I created back in ME1 looked horrible, so I imported and changed her looks and her class.

I was reluctant of creating a bald femShep, but in the end I like this one. I think it's because the eyes have a very femenine intensity that balances out the shaved head.
And make up, WTF (though for some reason the no eye makeup option has a very strange looking gap, and it's better to give her the mascara/shadow, but that's all)

I agree, the original Shepard/Mark Vanderloo has that really attractive gruff 'n' tough-yet-somewhat-pretty thing going on...Luc0s wrote...
Yeah I know the original Shepard is based
on a model, a Dutch model (I'm Dutch myself). But he doesn't look
like "heey look at me I'm a pretty model"-kind of person. I love the
default Shepards look. If I where a girl or gay or bisexual, I'd hit
him.
And I agree with Nissun that most make-up choices for FemShep are somewhat strange, if not plain ridiculous in that setting... although I was tempted to give my new femshep the obscenely bright pink lipstick
In any case, your Shepard's very pretty, if a bit stern looking... she probably takes no bull****, that lady. : )

Kathryn Shepard. I am so proud of the way she came out.

Marge once again (I miss Predator H. Really):
Thanks. Your Femshep is cute too. I like her lil nose.

Would it work if we only have the Dragon Age Character Creator? Those characters still get uploaded to the server.brgillespie wrote...
Time to spread the goodness. For those that wish to have a non-standard avatar (like the avatar of my Shepard), please send me a message. It's a workaround that requires you have Dragon Age for the PC since you need it to be able to upload a modified picture of your Dragon Age character.
Sorry, X-Box owners.
Bah, I really need to upgrade my RAM and video card so I can get DA (and ME2) for PC...

Melikes.
Since I've never played a mShep, this thread gets me wondering... Is making mShep's face look like a huge angry brick with eyes of totally negligible size and mouth that might as well not be there intentional? I was just wondering if this was considered some kind of golden standard. Realistic mSheps like the one above seem rare.
And since I'm too in love with my creation I'll spam some more pics

Kind of see what you mean. For me its the opposite though. I often see male sheps I like and think look quite good, but all female sheps look so similar to me. It's the lack of good options and the fact that every face structure has..... the same face structure.
Male doesnt suffer from it as much, but still does.
The thing I cant stand about the female options is the profile view, they all look the same, and they all have the same 'not quite right' jaw. It can be covered up, and slightly fixed with a lot of patience but the problem is always there.
Oh, plus i'm obsessive and that char took me about 20 hours to get right. Most dont have that patience.

It's true that femsheps look a lot alike. I think it's because people tend to choose the prettiest options, not noticing that other noses, eyes, lips and hairs can look great if combined well. Besides taste, in the end it's a matter of effort.

Ok ok, ****** question but I can't seem to get my pictures to post on here, just the links. Anyone have any wisdom they are willing to impart on this subject?
You need to use an IMG tag and link to the photo hosted somewhere.
If you're using photobucket it will provide you the full link w/ image tag and all.
Quote a properly tagged photo then click the BBCode option in the toolbar to see how your link should look.

Holy Jesus! She almost looks like some girl at work, I don't know her unfortunately but they look almost the same, only noticeable difference is the hair cut and color, but the facial structure and all the rest, BULLSEYE! Well done Shepard I say, good job.

As well as trying to induce vomiting mixed with laughter, my grotesque Jill Shepard (see vid on sig) was also a test. If we can manipulate verts through gibbed past the confines of the creator limits, we can change faces entirely. Interesting eh?
I'm going to play with it next week.

Also some normal shots of him, in case you like:

I was trying to create a more rugged & gaunt looking Shep, who's labeled ruthless & renegade, but is actually quite troubled by his decisions

True dat, though I think ME2's already doing things slightly better than 1. I used to be ambitious and try and make original femSheps but it's usually turned out either pretty and typical or original in her ugliness. My current femShep is nothing ambitious I don't think, but I finally like her so I'll be keeping her.

That Kael Shep is really rather impressive, all in all.
The best non-Celebrity MShep I ever made was this guy:

But even he leaves a lot to be desired. I usually stick with default Male Shep.
On the flipside, I can quite easily make FemSheps I'd deem to be attractive, though not everyone would agree, I guess. I think the "Kellen Shepard" I posted earlier on looks pretty good, for example. And here she is again:

If these images are too big I'm gonna come back and edit the crap out of them.
The quality is regrettable but I play on console, so that's about the best I can do.

This is for the PC version I research on youtube and they explain what you have to do. This is not really a mod because that hair is in the game and you just use your save game to have it.
