It totally sucks that xbox players have such limited hair options. My next femshep will be bald.

yeah. I was hoping for some new meshes cata. Looks like they will probably make Nef's, Kelly's and one more mesh available in their patch whenever it comes out.

Since I've never played a mShep, this thread gets me wondering... Is making mShep's face look like a huge angry brick with eyes of totally negligible size and mouth that might as well not be there intentional? I was just wondering if this was considered some kind of golden standard. Realistic mSheps like the one above seem rare.

Kind of see what you mean. For me its the opposite though. I often see male sheps I like and think look quite good, but all female sheps look so similar to me. It's the lack of good options and the fact that every face structure has..... the same face structure.
Male doesnt suffer from it as much, but still does.
The thing I cant stand about the female options is the profile view, they all look the same, and they all have the same 'not quite right' jaw. It can be covered up, and slightly fixed with a lot of patience but the problem is always there.

Oh, plus i'm obsessive and that char took me about 20 hours to get right. Most dont have that patience.

Wow that's the most realistic manShep I've ever seen, and that's saying something.  I agree that both the male AND female Shep seem to suffer from pinched features -- for the femSheps everyone seems to choose those really over-tweezed eyebrows and skinny lips and a little Nicole Kidman nose...for manSheps there's more excuse because it really does takea  looooot of patience to get him looking good but imo it shouldn't be that hard to make a decent looking female one. Though that jaw problem is true...there is one angle from which mine always reminds me of Marilyn Manson haha...

Here is my Shep. Imported from ME1, and I didn't change her face at all. May not be the most beautiful, but she has that strong "Get things done" kinda look. I'm very fond of her.

I was surprised when I compared this picture to one I had taken of the same character in the first game.  The features are basically the same, but the ME1 version looks more like a plastic doll to me.
