I also think you were one of the Legion naysayers, perhaps you just don't want to like him? :innocent:

No one was more excited for legion when he was announded than me, NO ONE. I really wanted a Geth squadmates, and initially though of him as my permanent squadmate. He just seemed underdeveloped.

Well it's hard to deny that claim. We got them way too late. Legion really needs to come back in ME3 for more development.

Legion is definitely one of the characters I enjoyed a lot. It's just so frustrating that you can only pick him up right before the endgame.

exactly, it was a major disapointment that i only got to play him for 1 mission (his loyalty mission) in the suicide run i picked Mordin and Miranda ( i tryed to use other members but Mordin died while that last fight so i reloaded to grab him with me)

Just thinking, Legion is one of many and hes Shepard commander fan #1 Posted Image (stalking Shepard and wearing hes/her used armor) doesent that make all non virus infected Geth fans of Shepard commander? since they share a collective (hive) mind.

So another Geth would share what Legion experienced with Shepard commander (Legion 1.2) Posted Image

They don't always agree (thus the heretics) thats why they "build a consensus" you can ask Legion at the end of his mission about rewriting and he'll tell you that the programs in him are about a half and half split between rewriting and destroying the heretics so he has you choose.

True, Is like  they still have some kind of individuality where they may have opinions and they seem to resolve problems in a collective way and not like having one thought or one will, they still share experiences (guessing) so another Geth taking Legion's place would possibly handle things differently.

That really makes me want to know more about the Geth structure and "society".

I took Legion to the Citadel. Talk to the lady out front front, and bring Garius for more fun. "Geth do not infiltrate."

Oh, and I loved Legion....if it isn't in the next game in some form (like Wrex) I will be mad!

I think your team in ME2 will be your team in ME3. The final cutscene certainly lends to that possibility. There's a great chance Legion will return.

yeah that one was funny, i also did the forged ID quest but used the paragon way instead of the forged IDs (the two assari that could nt leave) with him with me and there was no reaction from the custom chick when Sheppard mentions flashlight heads

Legion is great, wish he came into play earlier on so we could use him more, but it's okay. Very interesting character.

Legion is a Shepard fanclub.

Really. Legion is literally ALL of the Geth, from the point they sent Legion out of the Veil.

Kind of reminds me of a similar character from an obscure RPG called Anachronox. You had a party member that was literally an entire civilization, driving around a planet that was miniaturized just to be able join your party and float around with you.

It had a special attack that was an orbital defense laser that could wipe out an entire fleet, but since it's been scaled down along with the planet, it can only obliterate one guy and anyone behind him.

Huge Legion fan. I hope he's back in ME3, I want to take him to all the civ areas I go. ^^ (doing that now post endgame too).

Too bad I can't take him to the Quarian fleet, that would probably be interesting. :P

I really hope they can join the galactic community in a peaceful way.

Legion + X98e Widow = WIN.

I unlocked Sniper Rifles for my Adept on the Collector ship. Can't wait to try out the Widow on my next playthrough.

It's very interesting. I'd almost say that the reactions you get on the Quarian fleet make up for the lack of reactions everywhere else.

I like when his little head flaps move when he talks. I am happy we got our own Geth too, I was so tired of shooting them all in ME1.

However, none of that changes the fact that geth are software only, unlike most other AI. This means it is quite possible for Legion to make a backup of himself to be restored in the event of the destruction of his mobile platform during the suicide mission. If you want to apply organic values of life to him go right head but that doesn't change canon.

That backup, if restored, would be Legion in every way that would matter to the geth.

And I go back to my earlier point, which isn't an issue of "organic values".

You lose the weight of his death or loss if it is as simple as uploading a backup. And even then, while it may behave the same it still isn't the same Legion.

Just as much as if I duplicated the memories of any organic, killed them, bred a developed clone, and uploaded those memories. I didn't bring Legion or Garrus back from the dead, I only brought their duplicate.

Legion doesn't have another copy of themself as explained if they die on the suicide mission they upload themselves to a geth ship from their mobile platform. It's not a backup its like escaping death but a backup wouldn't be legion as it wouldn't have shared his experiences outside of the veil and just before he died. yh so this post kinda made no sense but yh.... LEGION RULES! and i'll ninja anyone who says otherwise . i too was disapointed that he wasnt developed more and i think in ME3 if he isnt in it i may not forgive Bioware if they dont bring him back in in any of the other games. OH BTW! on biowares recruitment website they annouynced they want people with experience moddding amss effect and working with multiplayer gaming. imagine multiplayer mass effect or a proper MMO.

I would love a patch that let us finish all the loyality mission before the IFF is instaled, we could play with Legion a lot more.

Not a patch, but there's a way to modify the game to do it. *Click Here*

There are no big Legion fan threads because everyone has already agreed that Legion is way awsome and perfect in every way.

No arguement.
