I think new romances in such a short expansion would be sort of dumb.
And I hope/expect/will be pissed off unless the Origins romances, although not available as companions, are referred to and show up as at least cameos.

There are no new romances. Read the FAQ on the Awakenings page. No new ones, and old ones don't carry over. *sad panda*

it would be kind of pointless to see an expansion with romances, would be very silly, i dont think this expansion will last long anyway, whats the supposed length of the expansion? 10 - 15 hours?

Who can I romance in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening?
There are no romances options available in Awakening. The story is focused more on the mission at hand and the new threat to Ferelden.

Seriously though considering the time and budget, I do wish the Origins warden wasnt a feature included in this expansion. The warden's story couldve been left on hold.

I think it's because she may be court mage in the epilogue.
